Kefir's great and much better than high protein yoghurts with additives (don't know if the lidl one has additives, to be fair!). I tend to go for natural organic ones. I was getting IBS type symptoms a couple of years ago and adding kefir most days was one of the changes I made which seemed to really help.

@WorriedRelative ahh thanks so much for letting me know, really sorry hope it hasn’t spoiled your day

morbidcuriosity · 29/10/2024 18:23

Thanks for the answers.. I do quite like it, I shall probably buy more, I quite like yoghurt and fruit for my lunches as I've never been a breakfast eater..
I think the lidl Protein natural one is quite good, not the fruit ones or the drinks they seem to be heavy on additives and sugars..
I'm trying to make better choices for my gut health as have had a few constipation episodes and it's not fun..

Flax seed is my next research.

Flax seed is great, make sure to buy the whole seeds as they start to lose quality once ground, so grind them yourself. Chia seeds also help. Best thing in my experience for constipation is good old prunes!

owlyboo · 29/10/2024 18:30

NSV ordered an all in one waterproof set (don't ask... I have to take my son to forest school once a week and obviously it's going to start getting very wet and cold!!) and I ordered it in a 16 thinking it'll look horrendous and I'll have to send it back as the trousers looked very fitted, not only did it fit and look nice but it's way to big, I could fit about 4 fists in the trousers with me!! I've had to send it back and reorder in the size below.. fingers crossed that one fits well!

Can't wait to embarrass the kids by also wearing it on my walks when it's wet 😂😂 oh here comes the crazy lady in her waterproof onesie!

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 18:33

Well ladies

Still really tired

But

I think and I'm still not sure as it's a weird feeling and not something I'm used to 😂

But

I think I have suppression again

Finally

Takes a day or two to get into my system but I left some of lunch and I'm eyeing up tea with a erm not sure I want you

Is this suppression ???

Tho I could still def munch on some crisps so I don't have that I don't want any cakes chocolate crisps vibe yet

But

But this can only be a good thing yes ?

weaseleyes · 29/10/2024 18:38

Hurrah @Blondeshavemorefun - that sounds good! Finding things a bit easier to resist or not being that bothered is much more common than not wanting them at all, I think.

owlyboo · 29/10/2024 18:39

Yesss @Blondeshavemorefun I would describe that as a type of suppression! I definitely get the no idea what I want to eat as don't really fancy anything! At last!!

morbidcuriosity · 29/10/2024 18:41

Ah yes prunes.. I've never had them before.. forgot about them. Maybe I'll give them a go too. .
I'll be careful I don't want to go the other way and have diarrhoea. Lol.

Ellepff · 29/10/2024 18:58

@NippyCrab were you the one asking about pee issues with constipation? It’s common in potty training kids, so could happen to us adults too. Maybe do a good clear our with medicine then you could go all natural? I feel like my biwels are never empty now, even when I’m not constipated.

@Blondeshavemorefun sounds like a but of suppression. My victory this week was dealing with cravings with substitutes: pasta instead of pizza etc. everything magazines promised my whole life but they’d never worked for me.

dosing question (ozempic but same principle) I messed up my doses this week with a poorly DS. Usually I take .50 on Friday. I missed it until Sunday, but that pen only had .25 left, so finally today I took another .25. Should I do my .5 Friday or push to Sunday? (Might be a better injection day for me anyway). Or split it again? I’d prefer one dose a week though

AdeloreSmore · 29/10/2024 18:58

I started using Lidls Milled flaxseed and it sorted out my constipation. It's the only thing I changed so am guessing it was that! It's not seedy, it's like a wholemeal flour texture. I add 2 tablespoons to fruit and yoghurt, it doesn't taste of anything I don't think. 4g fibre so clearly what I needed!

I feel absolutely horrendous on 7.5. Nauseous, exhausted, freezing, dry mouth, headache. Praying it's a one off! This is Day 3 and the worst I've felt since I started 😩

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 19:22

@Ellepff I would push it to the day you want

and do one dose

@weaseleyes @owlyboo - it's really weird as I am a bit hungry and I know I need to eat and not be a slice of ham lady

But I'm struggling with it

It's chicken tarikya and rice. I usually love it. It tastes very spicy and I'm pushing it round the bowl

Eaten about half

It's def a weird sensation

I hope continues

owlyboo · 29/10/2024 19:23

Yes @Blondeshavemorefun that's definitely it!! And no don't become a slice of ham lady 😂😂

ChunkyMunky · 29/10/2024 19:32

@Blondeshavemorefun I’ve found the trick is to listen to those little suppression feelings, and stop eating even if there’s still food on the plate. I find that I can ‘push through’ and eat more / clear my plate, but end up with stomach ache if I do this, so try and avoid that now.

I think learning that it is ok to stop as soon as I’ve had enough has been one of my favourite things about MJ. I don’t have to clear my plate, I don’t have to use things up. I’m too fat to eat food that I don’t really want, and spending a small fortune on MJ gives me the confidence to stop exactly when I want to.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 19:41

Yah

Does happy dance

Long May it carry on

@ChunkyMunky def agree. Stop eating when full

Def don't need to finish the plate

NippyCrab · 29/10/2024 19:59

Hello, good evening to you all amazing ladies!
I'm never going to remember who to tag 😆
Yes it's me with the piddling issues, it seems to have been a one off, I'm blaming the need to have a huge poo and the fact DH ran me ragged and I fell into a mega deep sleep. I am peeing a lot though, I've upped the water and today when I was out I didn't need the loo, I'm usually bursting but it's as if my body is holding on to lots of water and then late afternoon/evening I'm doing huge pees.

@Blondeshavemorefun it was a compliment meant, but you've probably forgotten as it's about a million posts ago haha.

I've been having prunes, I've had six today, I've had dates too. I really need a big clear out! I didn't realise how lovely prunes were! I'm going to prepare overnight porridge with chia seeds shortly.

I've not much news other than we've had uneventful walks with zero drama, and i saw this on Vinted and had to buy it. It will probably be more like a 12 and will be far too small.

I feel okay on the 3.75mg, its only day 1ish but I might be brave and go the whole 5mg next week! 😆 although DH is on holiday for a week so I don't want to be a washout.
Congrats to everyone and their losses and NSV"s
All the posts are filled with so much info and detail I need to go back and read from yesterday I think. Xx

Wish I could keep up ladies but DC keeps me fully occupied every second. Super busy in work atm too. Great to see some brilliant losses and NSVs! Mine is that I’ve bought a pair of knee high boots and they fit! Can’t believe it, never managed to find a pair to fit my legs 🥹 weigh day tomorrow.

Will definitely be going up to 7.5mg next time (might even go up next week if I can work out how) as I’m definitely using more will power than jab to keep me in a calorie deficit.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 20:47

@NippyCrab I remember. It reminded me of Mrs doubtfire and what they said about her 💕

Def fry 5 and @SilverSprings510 go to 7.5
How old is dc

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 20:48

Assuming you have a 5 pen

You need to do a usually dose of that

Then syringe out .3 which will be 2.5 so together will be 7.5

Usernamechangeforthis12 · 29/10/2024 21:11

oohhh….lovely jacket @NippyCrab, I may have a browse on Vinted!

I’ve a couple of NSVs - my fingers fit round my wrists once again, discovered randomly.

Also, a lovely pair of summer trousers that remained in the loft all summer as were skin tight and not possible to do up, are now fitting lovely, if anything a bit too big. And at least a couple of inches baggy on each leg! I will be packing them for next week!

WitchDancer · 29/10/2024 21:12

Evening all! It was weigh in day today and I'm another 1lb down, which I really didn't think I'd get because I have had the snack attacks recently. That's 1 stone 3 lb down so not fast but steady.

I have also done my injection today too - my normal dose plus 20 clicks to up it slightly to try for more suppression. I'm just hoping I don't feel rough with it, so everything crossed 🤞

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2024 21:14

Well done on loss @WitchDancer
