Weirdly the one plus point for me is that I've been sleeping amazingly!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

@RunSlowTalkFast I slept amazingly on the first week, strange how week 2 has not agreed with me at all so far

I’m having problems sleeping too. It seems like it’s quite a common problem.

I’m sleeping better too! I normally wake up several times a night as I’m a light sleeper but I didn’t wake up at all last night!

I do only sleep from about 11.30pm-6.30am though so 7 hours.

@recklessgran another email - prescribed 🤩 dispatch within one day. Hooray, hope you don't wait too long!

Have you logged in to your medexpress account? Sometimes if they don't approve your photos there will be a notification on your account before you get the email through. I paid at about 2am and was approved by that afternoon and delivered the next day even though I got an email saying they are slow at the moment

Mmm. This is the message on my screen but only the order received box is showing green. The other 3 are still grey.
"We are currently processing your order. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched".
Still no e-mails. I think I'll e-mail them tomorrow if I haven't heard by then. Thanks everyone.

Mine has just arrived, having a read of the instructions before DH gets home to inject (he has lots of experience after blood thinners for 2 csections)

I’m really nervous!

I’m the same, I’ve looked at my account and it says verify bmi, so ive asked them if there is more questions to come as I’ve uploaded two sets of photos, proof im on this already via another supplier and answered all the questions. If they are just going to ask me more, and delay then I’d rather they refund and I move to another supplier. As I’m not remotely impressed by it.

I’m only on week one and a 2.5mg dose. For the next month, have people gone up a dose? How do you decide to stick with 2mg or increase?

I called them in the end and just said I'm sorry but I'm a size 16-18 you can clearly see I'm classed as obese, if there is a hold up please could you just refund and within 2 hours it was processed and dispatched. So if you have the time give them a call rather than email if you can. I'm really hoping the wait isn't as long this time although I'm debating changing supplier to a cheaper one for 5mg but I will see.

On day 3 here, first injection Sunday night.
I thought I had messed it up and not managed to inject any of the medicine as I was having no side effects or suppression. However I’ve just pooped out my lunch (sorry TMI) so something is happening!

Wanted to ask those who are counting calories, do you take exercise in to account or are you just basing daily calories on food intake alone?

@recklessgran I hope there's some progress soon!! It's taken us all this courage to press the button the wait to be notified of approval and then dispatch is frustrating.

Right - I e-mailed and got the following amongst other dross!

Due to an influx of injectable weightloss orders, we are experiencing some delays. Currently, we're aiming to reply to all emails within 2-days and we're actively working to bring this down.

I'll call tomorrow and ask for a refund and see if that prompts a swift dispatch!

Probably a silly question - but with my Mounjaro instructions it says to swab the tip of the pen (the red bit) before putting the needle in. What is a swab? What do I use? The pen didn’t come with anything and neither did the needles. Injecting later for the first time and the pharmacies will be closed now!

Update; Yippee. Just got another e-mail - my order has been prescribed and will be dispatched within the next day. Reckon MedExpress are on this thread or something?

I can’t decide which to go for next. I took my 3rd dose yesterday so need to decide pretty soon whether I am moving up to 5 or not…

Check your first aid kit, it'll probably have some alcohol swabs. The sort of things you use to clean grazed knees. I'm pretty sure that hand sanitizer would probably do the same job of removing germs from the seal.

I watched this YouTube video about 5 times before I did it. Found it really helpful.

I've had 3 pens now, asda and zava and none came with swabs.. 9 jabs and I'm still here.. just make sure u wash hands etc, my thinking it will be fine..

Others may say I'm wrong but just letting u know your not alone ..

@Mummy20213x0 I bought the alcohol wipes from Amazon. It was about £3.99 for 100 wipes. I run one over the red bit of the pen and my tummy when I inject.
