Yes thanks @Blondeshavemorefun it should be now - just got an alert more when it was my thread as follow loads of threads 😅

owlyboo · 12/10/2024 19:31

@Wingingit11 hope you feel better about it again soon!

@Blondeshavemorefun to be fair 2.5 and 5 worked well for me until the last week when I had to use bonus so I'm hopeful 7.5 will do fine for at least three weeks like the last two.

I don't really aim to hit calories I just sort of eat. As the MJ has been working well I definitely won't over eat. Just probably need to be careful I'm not under eating some days.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2024 19:38

It does sound some under eat as feel so poorly

Surprised body doesn't think it's being starved so shuts off losing weight

Or maybe that's the insulin working

So surely anyone whose diabetic on mj should lose weight

@Blondeshavemorefun thankfully I haven't been poorly with it just big appetite suppression and decreased my anxiety massively which has been a fantastic side effect. Oh also put me off any fizzy drinks which is really odd for me as I was easily drinking 4 cans of Coke Zero a day pre MJ. Haven't drank any in WEEKS!

Just realised 2 more pounds gone and I'll be halfway to my goal...

MabelSpan · 12/10/2024 20:02

I have raised my calories to circa 1500 this week after my weird tummy feelings. Seems to have stopped it, thankfully.
Still havent decided whether to increase my mj next week or stick with 3.75mg.

NippyCrab · 12/10/2024 20:24

@AuntieDote belated Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳
@Blondeshavemorefun that sounds rough I'm hope you feel much better now.
Hope everyone else is in good fettle.
We have had such a lazy day today, duvet and reading and movie.
My belly is so flabby! I need to find the energy to go for a swim i really do, any tips for belly fat busting?
X

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2024 20:43

I'm on holiday and haven't been greedy - impressive as food here is really good. Tonight we had a 3 course a la carte meal. I didn't eat all of either course but bloody hell I feel stuffed. Hoping I don't see my dinner again later.

owlyboo · 12/10/2024 20:49

@poppym12 hope you have a lovely holiday and the dinner stays down!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2024 21:09

NSV

just done my measurements

Ive lost

10cm off my hips
4cm off my waist
6cm off my boobs

Since started in aug

Sadly my clothes don't seem that much loser - tho I did get into my raincoat easily zipped over boobs

But def not gone down a size in clothes

Well done @Blondeshavemorefun fabulous inch loss!! wish I'd taken some measurements!

poppym12 · 12/10/2024 21:13

Thanks @owlyboo. I can't believe how stuffed I feel. Suppression hasn't been great for a couple of days (I'm due my bonus dose of 5mg tomorrow) but this is the first time I've attempted 3 courses - and the last! My starter was just salad. I wish I'd stopped eating after that tbh.

owlyboo · 12/10/2024 21:14

@poppym12 well we have to live and learn don't we! Plus everyone is entitled to indulge a little on holiday!

weaseleyes · 12/10/2024 21:15

That’s amazing @Blondeshavemorefun!! Well done! I’ve barely lost anything in measurements, I’m just weirdly softer. Perhaps I have very slender ears.

Timetochange24 · 12/10/2024 21:42

Ellepff · 12/10/2024 19:10

I find 900-1000 is the sweet spot for a good loss and not getting shaky (I’m 5’1). By 1500 I’d be maintaining or gaining.

1550 is apparently my maintenance level unless I get a lot more active. No wonder I've been putting on weight easily aiming for 2000ish a day.

owlyboo · 12/10/2024 21:58

At a guess I would say I'm eating around 1000 cals a day which probably isn't enough for my weight and height but I haven't been getting hungry at all and have to 'think' to eat. I wasn't a massive over eater before but I did enjoy a snack on an evening something I now haven't done in the whole seven weeks on MJ. I also enjoyed wine which I'm still having but strictly a Friday and Saturday now. No more wine oclock which will have definitely helped with the weight loss.

I had a very odd NSV earlier, let's say I was 'landscaping' and realised how much my stomach had reduced I can now see all the landscaping area clearly 😂😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/10/2024 22:19

Good to be able to see to mow the lawn @owlyboo 😂😂

@Blondeshavemorefun 😂😂

Usernamechangeforthis12 · 12/10/2024 22:22

I wish I’d taken measurements too. My usual trousers still stay up fine and don’t feel loose but I’ve definitely slimmed down as I’ve other trousers I couldn’t get up in the summer that I can now (still a bit too tight to wear).

I’ve a couple of tops that were really tight and are now almost baggy. I also bought a top in the sale for next summer in a 12 and I can actually fit into it now! Slightly tight but never thought I’d see a 12 again!!

I don’t know how many calories I’m eating but a typical day is something like

B- coffee with milk
L - 2 rice cakes with peanut butter/ hummus/ egg
D - small serving of whatever everyone else is having. Often rice&dhal or curry/ stir fry.

If I’m hungry I’ll have an apple or a few nuts.

Since starting MJ I’ve not eaten chocolate, crisps, cake (small slice of birthday cake DS made), or any of the usual rubbish.

FlappingMadly · 12/10/2024 22:28

Fantastic @owlyboo and so much safer 🤣

Here’s to dinky pixie ears @weaseleyes
I have slender toes. It could get precarious tottering around on teeny toes and slender ankles. My feet will snap off.

owlyboo · 12/10/2024 22:30

@FlappingMadly that's very true! 😂😂

Wingingit11 · 13/10/2024 06:12

My Apple stats also show around 1500 for maintenance so trying to stick to 1000 p/day too. I don’t think I realised before how little you actually need with a fairly sedentary job etc and it’s produced fairly consistent losses of 2lb (sometimes 3) per week throughout which is about right

Wingingit11 · 13/10/2024 06:14

Is anyone else at a stage MJ wise where you kind of take for granted the different approach to food (namely not thinking about eating) and unwisely questioning if you need to spend £ for injections in a new routine after 10 weeks 😅

Timetochange24 · 13/10/2024 08:41

@Wingingit11 100% yes!
