We are a chatty but supportive bunch

Apart from running after an elderly and very demanding mother and running a business... I really haven't got time for extra exercise just now, which is part of the problem I think.
I get 30 minutes after work to sit down quietly before I start making dinner and after that, I'm just too bloody knackered -!!!

@Katkins17 I get that! Sounds very hectic!! And to be fair they say abs are made in the kitchen not the gym so diet is much more important! Hang in there hopefully 7.5 will bring the whoosh you need! You've had a great loss so far!

Oh also forgot to say anyone ordering on chemist 4 u, they're not sending out the wipes anymore. Mine were missing and when I phoned they explained it was because it was delaying orders and they couldn't order them in?! So I should have been notified, (i wasn't!) so just in case it's helpful!

I got a thing of 100 on Amazon after they forgot mine second time round with bolt, they just sit in my drawer

(They're also super handy to clean your Apple Watch!)

I ordered a second 5mg pen, only for the 4th dose of my first 5mg pen to do absolutely nothing for me! I got 0.7ml out of it last week for my bonus dose and it has worked but not as well as it was. So I will take 3 x 0.9ml (7.5mg) out of this 5mg pen and then see where I'm at. Bit frustrated.

@HamAlive I think that was my fear of sticking as it's so expensive it stopped working I'd be hopefully counting clicks will work for you!

I was in a similar position to you.

I didn't want to jump up to 7.5 as the first couple of weeks of 5mg had been brutal.

I did some maths and the 25mg that's in the pen (5x5mg doses) divides into 6.25, so I'm using insulin needles this month. I got 0.7ml out of my last pen which is 5.8mg and worked pretty well for me this week!

Hey lovelies thank you @Blondeshavemorefun for the new thread, I'm still catching up on 5. Just thought I'd check in, get my place and see how everyone is doing. I've not eaten well the last 2 days, I've been too flipping tired. We have a scoot bug and 3 dogs with it, so the garden has more sand covering areas than our beach haha.
Hopefully the lack of calories won't hinder the weight loss this week. I've drank plenty and had herbal teas. I think I need to invest in some leggings for walking, I've got a saggy arse at the moment and weirdly i keep touching it so I must look a right twerp 😂 i mean the leggings are sagging not my actual flesh. Aww I'm away to bed, before i ramble more nonsense, say a prayer i get a full night sleep with no woofs up!

Hi! I started Ozempic in August, just following MJ threads because they are busy! I lost 15lbs quite fast but it’s taken me almost a month to lose another 1.5. Period just started today so hopefully the scale will look better soon. I went back for seconds on pizza for the first time since I started so I might need to up my dose.

I’ve also been painfully tired and maybe need to add some iron and B12. I think I’m eating from exhaustion

Happy new thread everyone. Did my first 7.5 today and 8 wk weigh in tomorrow! Did try to do 5th dose again from 5mg but it was not playing ball so I sacked it off and cracked open the 7.5! Hope you're all having a positive week 😊

@Motnight not being competitive 😅 but I can only lose on 1000 calories, and maintenance calories are 1370. That's partly due to the fact that I am 68, short, and have been a yo yo dieter all my life. It's so hard to keep going...thank goodness for MJ. I track everything on MFP. All the more frustrating when some people I know can eat whatever they want with no weight problem at all. I met up with some school friends in the summer at my highest weight in ages. Because I am short, 11 stone really shows. I am aiming for 9 stone, although that still puts me in the overweight category according to BMI calculations 😱 Meeting them again in November, hopefully at least a stone and a half lighter. Good luck, and keep going 👍

Its me again..trying to distract myself from my nausea. People have been talking about 5 mg and 7.5 mg and whether to go up or not. @Blondeshavemorefun hope the 7.5 mg is working? Sorry I can't remember who else is going up to 7.5? I plan to increase every month until I find the best dose for me. On my first 5 mg pen, 3rd dose and feel sick a lot of the time so can't wait to go up to 7.5, especially as I am going on holiday for a week and plan to stick to my 1000 cals while away. @Azuresky68 if you feel sick a lot of the time on 5mg I would assume you'll feel worse on 7.5mg because it's a higher dose so be careful with going away!
