Once again strong suppression towards the end of the week. I should donate my body to science 🤣

Me too!!!

6.25mg and I'm not hungry at all. Nothing sounds good.

owlyboo · 17/10/2024 09:03

Well done @JohnCravensNewsround ! I agree as it doesn't feel like a 'diet' at all and you're not being deprived or frustrated it makes the steady loss feel good as you know you can stick to it long term.

Strange @FlappingMadly must take your body longer to break it down and get into the system.

Much nicer weather today for my walk. Picture incoming for the person who said they're enjoying the outdoor pics (sorry can't remember who it was now!)

Sore, bruised and swollen 😩 this is doing my head in, I know weight loss is mainly diet but my god I miss exercising

Arraminta · 17/10/2024 09:26

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2024 21:11

Well done @MargoLivebetter

@NippyCrab sorry to hear you are swollen

@Arraminta noooooooo get rid or you will think fuck it if one's now get too tight and then go back to your larger size as have them

If you don't have them you can't wear them

Oooh that's actually a very good point!

Arraminta · 17/10/2024 09:30

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2024 21:28

OMFG NSV

I was scratching my shoulder and felt a lump

Took a pic a wasn't sure what it was

I actually have a collarbone showing and part of a skinnier neck /throat 🙀🙀😄😄

Depending how I stand - not always visible but omg it's there. Has been hidden for a very very long time

I absolutely love this! You're getting good bones, girl! I've noticed my knees are more boney!

owlyboo · 17/10/2024 09:47

@itwasnevermine I hope it heals quickly. I get it exercise is much more than just for weight loss!

My walk is turning into a goosebumps... what happens next to the crazy blonde lady with these signs (don't worry I've done it before it's perfectly safe!)

Blimey @owlyboo - it's not just your views that are exciting! I've never seen a sign for quick sand before.

Don't worry I'm safely back in the woods now! It's because it's near a quarry. You'd have to come off the public path and jump the fence to find quick sand but then again without a sign some idiot would!!

Arraminta · 17/10/2024 10:05

I remember being terrified of quick sand when I was a little girl. God knows why because I lived in a leafy suburb in The Midlands.

pippapumpkin · 17/10/2024 10:08

Lovely collarbone @Blondeshavemorefun 😄

@owlyboo you look like you get on some lovely walks. I actually didn’t know we had quicksand in UK I thought it was something in just like goosebumps as you say 😂 the more you know!

weaseleyes · 17/10/2024 10:12

I am meant to be doing some work, but have now spent several minutes pondering whether I would be more or less likely to sink in quick sand now I'm a bit thinner. I initially thought I might have improved my chances as someone lighter would sink slower, but given the advice is to lie on your back to give yourself a larger surface area, I'm now concerned my surface area may be somewhat reduced. Could fear of quick sand be my worst ever excuse for wanting to break a diet?

MargoLivebetter · 17/10/2024 10:17

Lol @owlyboo . I'm staring at my screen, pretending I'm working, wishing I were out on a long walk. You've made me chuckle.

lookathatbookcase · 17/10/2024 10:17

@owlyboo I love these types of hazard signs! I have loads from work trips to machine yards (little stick men falling off buildings, being scooped up by diggers, being electrocuted etc).

owlyboo · 17/10/2024 10:21

😂😂 I'm glad my walk has amused! I think we were all terrified of quicksand it was put to us the same as some one snatching you in a white van luring you in with puppies and sweets, like we had the same chance! Or being struck by lightening!

Fuffedoff · 17/10/2024 10:32

Morning,

Went for a walk around Tesco last night with my partner.

I was looking at all the goodies on display everywhere (chocolate, biscuits, crisps etc) and said to my partner, god I'd love a binge right now.

The truth is, I actually don't. It was just a fleeting thought.

This is the longest I've stayed on track in a long time and would be a shame to spoil it.

I already have things in moderation. I guess it's old habits die hard.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/10/2024 10:50

@owlyboo great it's working so well for you - lovely pics

@JohnCravensNewsround same as me. Up every month tho I will go to 10

@FlappingMadly you are weird. Lovely bit weird

Towards end of week I'm starving. Jab day Tom and I am hungry today !!!!

@itwasnevermine Hope ankle feel better soon but may take weeks

MargoLivebetter · 17/10/2024 10:55

That's two big things @Fuffedoff . I am convinced that MJ is the secret to sticking on a diet long-term.

2nd that you briefly thought of a binge, but then knew you also didn't really want to and didn't. Personally, I think stuff like that is amazing. That's the difference between losing weight and gaining weight.

Fuffedoff · 17/10/2024 12:39

The sulphur burps have started again 😷 and it's towards the end of the week once again. This happened last week.

I've just taken two peppermint capsules. Let's hope this helps!

And for now, I'm water only for the rest of the day unless it settles.

I mean as in closer to my jab day which is Saturday.

I get nothing at beginning of week. Strange

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/10/2024 12:53

@weaseleyes erm no young lady. That's a crap excuse !!

Well done @Fuffedoff

There is nothing wrong with having the odd one

To never have again may be too much

But we all got like this but having too much the whole time

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/10/2024 12:55

This thread has moved on so quickly that I don't think I'm ever going to catch up so I do hope you're all OK!

Jabbed yesterday, 2nd 7.5mg and that was fine.

Weighed in this morning and I'm down a pound so happy with that.

So now that's 2 stones and 1lb down since 3rd August, 75 days!!

I could be wrong but I'm expecting my weight loss to slow down now purely because I haven't been this weight since well before I had my DS who is 10 so maybe even 15 years, not even sure really.
I just remember that I seemed to be 13 and half stone up til I was around 28, got an office job and gained weight, then had a baby, gained weight etc. I'm now 44.

So now I'm 13 stones and 7lbs again for the first time in 16 years. So I'm not expecting miracles, I'm going to keep going to 13 stones, keep believing I can do this and trust the process and then tackle the next half stone goal.

Only negative right now is the bloody headache again so I'm going to pick up some electrolytes today and hope they help.

MissFancyDay · 17/10/2024 13:33

@MabelSpan How are you doing after your double dose. I don't know if you have been back here, I might have missed it.
