WellDone on the fasting @Callmejudith and amazing loss @JomonotFomo

im actually thinking of not injecting this week and having a week off to see what happens. I need to start a new pen and I’ve got two 5mg pens in the fridge to use as I wanted to be sure I could get through Christmas ok. I’ve had very little desire to eat this week and I’m fed up of the metallic taste that’s just hung around this last month. I only took 2.5mg last week and I’ve still lost a 1lb. And I’ve just run my fastest 5k in 5yrs whoop! Being nearly 3st lighter really does make you go faster!

I have done this recently a few times. I think thats why I am at a plateau. Haven't gained though so that is a bonus.

I am still feeling sick the first few days of the jab.

Has anyone had an increased borkiness? I never did prior to Mj.However anything disgusting makes me throw up bile.
It could be a bad smell, some dog poo on the street, spit, body fluids but worst of all hair, stray hairs. The hair loss pics in the facebook MJ group really set me off. My own does on my jumper. It's crazy. I am doing it now just typing about it.
I can stop myself if I breathe and think nice thoughts.
What is wrong with me? I was never this queasy.

@coffeeandteav

Have you got any cyclizine tablets? I always keep some in the house. They're what doctors usually prescribe for bad nausea.

Thanks.Yes I have those. They do help.

Just weird how a stray hair has me borking. Not on the listed side affects. 🤣🤦‍♀️

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 17/11/2024 11:46

AutumnStorms11 · 17/11/2024 13:06

Snozzlemaid · 17/11/2024 13:34

@IReallyNeedThisToWork Amazing! Well done.

I bought some size 16 trousers yesterday that fit, it's a great feeling isn't it?

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 17/11/2024 11:46

Um, guys? I’m wearing a size 16 top!!!!!

Yaaaaaay!!!!

And I've been bidding on size 12 jeans on Ebay. I was size 24 this time last year.

I'm not quite a size 12 yet, but I'm nearly a 14 now.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 17/11/2024 14:09

Thanks everyone. It doesn’t feel real! I bought two tops as I liked them and thought they might fit in a few weeks…

Also just gonna put this here - I also bought a pair of size 16 jeans and they fit (but they are M&S and stretchy so my brain says they don’t really count! 🤦‍♀️)

Pumpkinforever · 17/11/2024 18:42

Well done @TheShellBeach👏🏻

And @IReallyNeedThisToWork if I can reach size 16 sometime in January I will be delirious. Well done you 👏🏻

Splendud · 17/11/2024 23:28

Went to Sainsbury's today to pick up some new clothes as my 26s and 24s were too big. Came home with size 22 trousers and size 20 tops and dresses. So chuffed!

Also found a pair of velvet trousers I haven't worn since 2017 and they fit!

Callmejudith · 18/11/2024 17:26

Smashing it everyone well done! @coffeeandteav I’ve never heard the term borking before that made me chuckle!

fasting over the weekend wasn’t amazing but I still ate well within calories so happy with that. Just did my penultimate injection - scary!

thesugarbumfairy · 19/11/2024 10:52

I have well and truly plateau-d. I'm trying to not let it get me down, because I in spite of still being obese (by about two stone 🙄) I am actually pretty happy with being a 16, which is smaller than I've been for years.

I'm trying to stick to my calories still and just carry on with it in the vague hope that at some point it will start to shift again. I have all but given up with the gym as I can never ever get on classes that I want, and the one that I loved and only went to once, has been cancelled completely (arrgh)

TheShellBeach · 19/11/2024 11:23

@thesugarbumfairy I also feel good at size 16. It seems so tiny.

And even though I've still got 4 - 5st to lose, to reach a healthy BMI, I feel amazing.

Everyone is noticing now. And I've been buying things in Ebay in size 14 and even size 12.

Callmejudith · 19/11/2024 12:21

Keep at it @thesugarbumfairy - I bet you are losing inches if not lbs. That's such a shame about the gym though as you were getting into it. Silly question but are you drinking loads of water? That definitely helps me if I'm plateauing

I am drinking water. Although perhaps not as much as some. I aim for 2L a day.
I've not been measuring inches but I'm happy with how clothes fit now. My stomach gets very bloated some days and I feel super fat in that area, but other days its not so bad.

I bloody hate my arms though. I can't believe how saggy they are. When they were super-huge, they were just, well, super-huge. But solid. Now I have these saggy wobblers. I'd still rather be not-as-fat and have saggy wobbly arms 😁.

If I get to goal (and have enough savings) - they are first on the chop chop list - my belly can wait😂

Callmejudith · 19/11/2024 12:40

I would love to have a chop chop of the arms too and then belly. Hannah waddingham arms are my dream

I post really infrequently as my weight loss has been so slow.
Sw 78kg
Cw 60kg
I haven't lost anything in 3 weeks now just sat in 60...so frustrating as I'd love to see the 50s. I'm short so still BMI in the overweight range. I need to get down to 55kg to fit in my old clothes 😵‍💫
