Welcome, August starters ! Can’t believe we are on thread 5🫣

Some cracking losses being reported. Well done fellow August starters.

No loss for me this week but that follows a 4lb loss while on holiday, so not complaining. Had to happen at some point.

Now I've settled on 2.5 and the more troublesome side effects have diminished, I'm going to revert to injecting weekly, rather than every 8 days.

Yes! I got dry eye drops, then antibiotics drops and cream. It's settling, so weird I've not had that before. Maybe it causes dry eyes xx

It's only been since 5mg, didn't get it on 2.5mg. I'll get some drops.

Nice little NSV for me today. Went swimming with a lovely (but slim & pretty) friend, and didn’t feel like shit! Sounds a bit daft. I’m still very big, my thighs are lumpy and wobbly, and my tummy still sticks out, but today I just didn’t care. I didn’t feel the need to hide in robes & towels, I could just be. And it’s lovely.

Not sure how much I’ve lost at this point (monthly weigher) but I know there’s quite a bit less of me than before, and I’m feeling good.

I've just eaten a dinner that was too big (salmon, broccoli and a handful of new potatoes) and I feel absolutely horrendous.

I honestly had half of what I normally would but jabbed yesterday so must have just overdone it

Back on it. Took my first 7.5mg this afternoon. Put it off from yesterday as was due to spend 5 hours on a train.
Interestingly had my first time in 2 months of feeling hungry this morning.

So am I @lookathatbookcase 😄😄

Not enough suppression as in I don't want crisps for example

But def not feeling as hungry as I was on 2.5/5

I have a feeling I will need to go to 10

But will see what a month of 7.5 does

What does the 5hrs on a train make a diff

If that was me I would have been stuffing myself for 5hours 😂

@Blondeshavemorefun I have a history of random dodgy guts after injecting. Not always, just enough to keep me guessing and always having a stash of imodium!

2lb off for me. Definitely I am a 3lb max loser as been really good this week but approaching 2 stone which is great and long game is best.
still feeling tire acid reflux today 🫢

No spots or sore eyes. The spots are probably oestrogen released from fat cells. The eyes linked to blood sugar & MJ?
I was thinking it might be an idea to list symptoms because all together might show a pattern and give some pointers for life and possible medication post MJ.

I took my first 7.5 mg on Saturday @JohnCravensNewsround! How are you feeling? I was in the car yesterday for a couple of hours and felt quite nauseous and had heartburn 😞. Feeling incredibly tired today (but to be fair I have only slept about 5 hours). And full.

Yes I was sick on 5mg. Just nausea for the first week, but progressed to actually being sick in the second week so I’m reducing my dosage.

I’m also well stocked up on peppermint tea. Not tried kwells yet, but I’ve seen other people mention that they’re helpful so I might order some.

No sickness on 5mg but definitely more nausea than on 2.5. Kwells are excellent but I had to order them from an online pharmacy, I couldn't find them anywhere.

@motnight I woke in the night with terrible heartburn so will take those one a day tablets this week. Apart from that not bad.
