Well, I’m not gaining but not losing either. I have suppression when I’m not eating but eat with no ill effects. Yesterday I had:
Protejn shake with fruit.
Boiled egg, tomato and lettuce sandwich
Ribs with home made coleslaw
Roasted figs with blob of mascarpone and raspberry gelato. I thought the pudding might cause a difficult night but nope. Nothing.
No constipation either

Maybe I need to go keto. I don’t want to ☹️

I'm in the same boat as you, have been for a week or two.

Weight loss isn't linear and all sorts of things can be going on behind the scenes to cause weight loss/gain, including retention of water. I'm not hungry but when I eat I can eat happily, and I'm trying not to starve myself to the point that I just don't eat at all.

Morning. One more 1lb off this morning, so officially 15lbs. But it's coming off sooooo slowly. Anyone else only averaging 1lb a week? And my calories never go above 1200 a day!

Was weird. Hasn't eaten a lot of it and maybe 20mins later was violently sick

@Arraminta @itwasnevermine @FlappingMadly it's a tricky one isn't it as it's so expensive you want it to be bloody working!

Like @Blondeshavemorefun maybe an increase in dose is needed. Technically until you're at 15 you're not actually at the full dose. The others are working your body up to that. Having said that if I wasn't losing I'd be pretty pissed off to be buying pen after pen.

I have been 'lucky' and have lost on average just over 3lbs a week but I have coupled the MJ with greatly increasing exercise, averaging around 15-20k steps a day. Also have increased water intake loads..

Totally get that!! The times I've changed outfits of a morning as I felt so frumpy in everything even when I'm running late 🙈

It's nice to not have to do that.

@Arraminta yes I'm quite a slow loser, started well then dropped to 3.5 lbs over 6 weeks. Looks like I might manage another 1lb this week. Annoying but going down slowly. Don't get how some people manage 2+ every week. Keep going, we'll get there in our own time.

Week two of 5mg (Fri jab) and I’m feeling a bit of nauseous, terrible acid reflux last two nights and shattered. I literally didn’t sleep at all Sat night - not more than 30 mins so crashed out last night but still woke up tired today.

2lbs off last week so 20lbs in total since 25th Aug - which is great but I do have quite a bit more to go. However as the suppression is so hard and having to make myself eat to reach at least 1000 calls I did think it would be more.

The suppression wore off on 2.5 but side effects weren’t as bad so I’m wondering if I go down next pen or stick at 5 - the idea of 7.5 worries me.

4th injection of 5mg yesterday. I've been awake since 3am. I need a lot of sleep!! This is becoming a problem.

Doesn't sound like you should go up @Mum0ntherun and you might want to think about having a lower dose next week, like 3.75.

Thanks everyone who responded re: my spotty shoulders. If it is the MJ it’s a small price to pay for finally looking like I can get to a healthy weight in the coming months.

I dropped from 102ish kg to 100.7kg after my period. Hoping to join the sub 100 club in the next few days 🙏🏻 feeling in control of my eating for the first time in my adult life feels flipping unreal!

Thanks @owlyboo . I was already doing those steps and more with our dog and we only have one car and I hydrate well. I think I need to incorporate cardio. I don’t know, maybe slow loss is okay. I’m aware many in here are eating a lot less so it’s my choice I guess. So I either need to accept that or cut calories or go more keto. It’s so hard to think straight sometimes about MJ.

Considering bodies reset, slow as you reach your goal is good because your body is accepting them.

Oh... I'm out of ideas then. I fully expecting my WL to slow soon as I get smaller. I have around 2 and a half stone to target so still a little way off but obviously it's gets harder the lighter you are.

I think as long as you're actively losing that's the main thing whatever the speed! It all adds up in the end!

@Mum0ntherun Omeprazole sorted out my nighttime reflux - one tablet a day and have slept fine since then, I'm now not taking it every night, just the first few days after my injection. You can buy it off the shelf in Boots.

Weigh in and jab day for me. No real loss this week, well 0.2lbs lol! I am ok with that as I have been losing consistently so its about time my body had a bit of a break! I have jabbed another 3.75mg today from my 5mg pen, I only had one very mild day of nausea, day after jabbing on this dose. If supression fades or food noise comes back I will jab 1.25mg on Friday.

SW 14th Aug 24 - 20st 3lbs
CW 7th Oct 24 - 18st 9lbs
WL - 0.2lbs
TL 7th Oct 24 -1st 8lbs
3.75mg wk1/wk8 0.2lbs
5mg wk2/wk7 2.4lbs, 5mg wk1/wk6 4.2lbs
Wk5 bonus dose 3.25mg - 2.8lbs
Wk4 2.5mg - 2.6lbs, wk3 - 2.4lbs, wk2 - no loss, wk1 7.4lbs

I did my 4 weekly measurements today and since 9th Sept I have lost 3 inches of my belly and waist, 2.5 from under my boobs and 1.5 from each arm and thigh so I am finally starting to melt, albeit slowly!😊

Do you do any resistance/strength or functional training as you really do need to be doing it alongside your steps to lose weight effectively.

Forget everything I said about no suppression.

One cup of coffee and two teaspoons of my chia seed-yoghurt-fruit mix and I'm stuffed. I actually feel sick. Hoping I can get lunch down me or I'm going to struggle in terms of not eating too little.

Thank you. I do some resistance but mainly to avoid I hope looking too wobbly and bone health though my walking is beneficial for that too. Could you share more as to why you need functional training for weight loss?

I'm not sure whether to stick at 5.0mg or move up for my next pen.

Due to take the bonus from my 5.0mg pen today. I ordered another 5.0mg as generally it has been good for me but now I'm wondering whether I should move up.

This week I haven't really lost, I'm a daily weigher and have been bouncing around the same kilo. Have a 0.5kg loss Sunday to Sunday but Monday to Monday my weight is the same and Saturday to Saturday 0.1 off.

I have felt a bit more hungry this week, have snacked a bit but not much, I am still having smaller meals but not feeling as full as quickly. I was able to resist having a packet of crisps at the pub yesterday and didn't get anything at Starbucks when DH got a coffee and brownie to freshen him up for the drive but I definitely felt ready for dinner.

Not sure whether I am over reacting to a slow week or whether I will regret starting the 5.0mg pen.

I could get a 7.5 in time for jab day if I want to and then save the 5.0 for when I want to drop down.

Total loss so far is 7kg on 9 doses (1 pen 2.5mg 1 pen 5.0mg).

Interested in what other people's experiences have been and what they have done.
