Ah shit I really should read up stream if I’ve been sitting on a post.
Sorry you feel like that @MelainesLaugh. whoop for 14! 💃💃💃.
Looking forward to hitting that eventually myself.

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 10:02

NSV I can’t stop admiring my ankles 🤣
But my shins are weirdly dry. Is that an MJ thing? So the scrub I got one Christmas has finally come out of the cupboard

MargoLivebetter · 04/10/2024 10:27

@poppym12 inch loss is really significant. At the end of the day no one is actually going to pick you up to assess your weight, but disappearing inches can be seen and I'm sure felt with your clothes.

@Blondeshavemorefun so pleased you are doing well. I think you should get a special MJ award for perseverance!

I think I'm a mid-level poster. Sometimes I see a post and it really resonates, so I comment or I have something I need to say out loud, if that makes sense. But I find all the comments invaluable, even when I'm not posting. I'd hate to be doing this without you all.

poppym12 · 04/10/2024 10:33

That's true @MargoLivebetter, I hadn't thought of it like that. I know my clothes are getting looser so I'll take that as a win. Over weekend I need to dig my holiday clothes out (from wherever the removals people put them on Friday) but I haven't lost any sizes yet so they should still fit ok.

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 10:39

Somebody asked about the mail I got from Voy about sale. I couldn’t share but just seen the code, duh. Apparently sale 44% off is on for 3 more days. Code by email I received is
VOYWLPDAQ.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 11:32

I've never looked in kg @poppym12

I'm a lb and oz girl

Even when get Told babies weight in kg I mentally times by 2 and add a little to work out if 7lbs average or larger baby 😂

Just checked what I am in kg

I was

Gulps

110.5 kg before sw
103.5 kg when started mj
89.7kg now
Lost 8.6kg on mj

1st 5 lbs sounds better than 8.6kg 😂😂

Sure you will get to under 100 soon

That's 15 and a half stone

Good luck

MissFancyDay · 04/10/2024 11:36

Hi all, I'm a mid level poster. I don't post more because I'm really not having many problems.

I know it sounds bit stupid, but some of you are having such terrible times with nausea, diarrhea, plateaus and worse, I feel a bit guilty.

I'm just jogging along at the moment taking my 5mg, and losing about 2lb a week and really happy with it. Sometimes it feels like rubbing peoples noses in it to pipe up with that all the time.

Saying that, I really value this thread and the support and read avidly.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 11:36

I do try and tag people so they knows been seen and read and acknowledged @FlappingMadly

Awww thanks @MargoLivebetter
Almost losing. 1 1/2 stone means progress

I just waffle on here as know no one else doing it - tho equally I haven't told people - so maybe lots are and not revealing like me 😂

But no one near me is losing weight for me to notice iyswim

And yes @poppym12 inches lost are important as all

I do measure every other week

In cm

Sounds more 😂

Not Rubbing noses in it at all

It's working for you as it should. Low dose and losing weight. Win win @MissFancyDay

I just find fascinating how we can all be so different in symptoms - weight loss and amount can handle

MissFancyDay · 04/10/2024 11:42

@Blondeshavemorefun haha, yes, I'm also quite conscious of the fact that I have a long way to go and things could change!!

I'm doing my first bonus dose today with a syringe, so not looking forward to that at all.

MargoLivebetter · 04/10/2024 11:46

Voy are doing my head in a bit. I cancelled as I thought £229 was too much to pay for 2.5mg. So many other suppliers seemed to offer it for less. Then I got an email with a discount from Voy, so I thought sod it, I'll stay with them. Now it is making me go through the whole process all over again. Sigh!!!!

Arraminta · 04/10/2024 11:51

I feel like a rather dull poster, just pootling along with no side effects (apart from the neverending period, but even that was just a tepid flow each day). I am losing weight, I'm 14lbs down since start of August which is fine, but not amazing or anything. But I never had loads to lose and will be content to lose just another 14lbs, I think. Anymore and I suspect my throat will start looking stringy!

But I do like to dip in and out of the thread. It's nice to feel there's somewhere to go where people are going through it too.

Arraminta · 04/10/2024 11:52

Oh and huge applause for blondes you go girl!!!

I did the same but tbh, even that one off discount to stay with them didn't make me stay afterwards when the prices shot back up. Plus I found my coaching absolutely useless.

I ended up having to speak to another team at Voy via email to ensure my next pen was 5mg as the online chat said I'd have to start at 2.5 again - even though I hadn't yet finished the first 2.5 pen.

UniqueLemonOrca · 04/10/2024 12:09

Mounjaro call-in on LBC radio this morning from 10am-11am.

3 very positive callers and no detractors.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 12:23

@Arraminta not dull. It's working for you

Anyone can post on here

Whether

struggling losing weight
Losing each week
Lots of s&d/symptoms
No symptoms
2.5/3.75/5
7.5/ 10/12.5

Pinkjenny · 04/10/2024 12:39

I think it is hard seeing massive losses, but there's enough of us on here hopefully to be able to resonate with each other.

I m doing my 7th jab tomorrow, 3rd 5mg. I don't feel an awful lot of difference in my clothes in comparison to the early weeks, but I'm trying to trust the process. Also, we can't see each other, we don't know how much people have to lose, what their build is, etc, so we can't really fairly compare each other.

Spending £172 on that 7.5mg was painful though.

Arraminta · 04/10/2024 12:55

PinkJenny That's a really good point about not being able to actually see each other, and how we're carrying our weight.

I know some might think I shouldn't be on MJ if I only want to lose about 30-35lbs, but I carry excess weight really badly because I'm narrow framed and small boned. So that excess 35lbs makes me look far more overweight than it would on someone with a larger frame.

Whoyoutakingto · 04/10/2024 13:01

Wow 2stone almost. You must be so chuffed

Are you moving to 7.5

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 13:16

This is lush. I do like the odd micro meal as some nights are a mad dash in from school - homework and bed for dd , yes for me quickly then I go to work

I've tried a few protein meals and many taste rank /bland

Then had normal micro meal tho can be 500 cals

This was yummy. From lidl and about £2.50

31g of protein so about a 1/3 or what I need a day and 374cals so low

Wingingit11 · 04/10/2024 13:22

Do you work nights @Blondeshavemorefun ? That must make good navigating tricky
there was a poster who was on the first thread that had an issue with voy that really put me off - not why they retracted the pen but the way they did it. It also sounds like a lot of money p/m but no idea how that pans out for £ with discount
oushk did an interesting live last night

Looks delish! But remember to check the sugar, which is more important than the protein, which you could always add to, X

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 13:33

Sorry, I’m always banging on about sugar.
