Maybe there's a lot of lurkers, who aren't necessarily posting as they are feeling disheartened. It's not easy to read that others are having no issues or have lost double what you have done in the same amount of time.

I'm not taking anything away from anyone when I say this, just saying that's how I feel sometimes and so it's logical that this could be why some of the originals aren't posting any more.

WitchDancer · 04/10/2024 07:54

I would say if anyone is feeling like that then to post. I have done so in the past few days because I am feeling so grim and have received some very sound suggestions as to how I can help myself. Flowers

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 08:05

@4pink1blue well done on loss

@Ithinkimrincewind yah. Welcome to the 7.5 club

@WitchDancer you could be right

Tho we do seem to be split to sone having awful symptoms - slow /little losses v losing every week v feeling ok like me but need high dose

I had a re read of aug 1 and lots of names I don't ever see on here. Come back and join us if still doing mj

Equally some may have stopped due to not doing very well or even cost

I worked out a budget and be around £1000 for think 6mths worth and will see how I am after that

WitchDancer · 04/10/2024 08:08

@Blondeshavemorefun you could be right about the cost thing too. It is a lot of money to spend!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 08:17

OMFG.

WHOOP.

DOES HAPPY DANCE

I've lost 4lbs. I can't believe it

Also means weight is starting with a 14 !!!

I haven't seen that for a very very very long time

I know I've had suppression this week. FINALLY

Tho that was on 10 as I did 5 and bonus same day with no ill effects at all !!!

I am obviously a higher responder

I know what lots of you are talking about on 2.5/3.75/5 - I've experienced it 😄

Took 1st jab of 7.5 today so hope I lose 1-2lbs next week on a lower dose

But seems 10 is my magic number

SW 16.3
CW 14.14
Lost 1.5lb (2.6 over all as lost 1.1s on sw)

owlyboo · 04/10/2024 08:18

Well done @Blondeshavemorefun ! Glad you've found your happy place!!!

Mum0ntherun · 04/10/2024 08:24

@Blondeshavemorefun thats great news. You can dance all you like today 😆😆

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 08:25

Yup, wondering how Doodle is getting on.
It is challenging seeing amazing numbers and I have to keep reminding myself that 5kg in a month is staggering for me. I have never seen consistent ish loss like this - never. The cost too. I’m going to find it hard to justify expense endlessly.
I was quite naive when I began MJ and had no idea that so many treatments and tests were available online. The UK really is becoming a two tier health nation. Great if you can afford it! If the nhs could get nimble, ha! they could amplify the benefits of MJ & Ozempic etc. really dramatically.

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 08:26

Fantastic @Blondeshavemorefun 💃💃💃

itwasnevermine · 04/10/2024 08:27

I had been set at 5mg for next month but now I'm not so sure, it's so hard to find the right dose isn't it?

I'm thinking that, as I have had my 5mg pen for two weeks already, I will start to split the doses - 5mg on a Sunday and then 1.25 or 2.5 on a Wednesday or Thursday to get my body used to the higher dose, then order a 7.5 as my next pen

JohnCravensNewsround · 04/10/2024 08:34

Just checking in. I think I am moving through the plateau with 2.5 lbs off this week. So that's 16lbs in 8 weeks.
I am happy with that. Because of my height, I've always struggled with sticking with the 1000 cals a day which produces any kind of weight loss.
I'm moving to the 7.5 mg tonight for my 9th jab.

WitchDancer · 04/10/2024 08:34

@Blondeshavemorefun oh that is wonderful news! I'm really happy for you Flowers

When I say had my pen - had my second pen!! Definitely not looking to move up from 5 after two weeks

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 09:23

Thanks @owlyboo @Mum0ntherun @FlappingMadly @WitchDancer

I was almost thinking it was a waste of money as can't lose more via sw alone

But to be in a weight starting with a 14 is amazing !!!!

@JohnCravensNewsround welcome to the 7.5 and possibly @itwasnevermine - it's really not bad if 10 is anything to go by

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 09:24

So that was my 1st prick of the day

Now to get 2nd and 3rd - flu and covid jabs

itwasnevermine · 04/10/2024 09:25

@Blondeshavemorefun despite having budgeted for not buying mj this week I am tempted, but don't fancy jabbing myself twice 🤣🙄 I have done the maths and think that from that pen, I should be able to go to the end of the month? Not 100% sure though, but then I'm obviously in the position of doing a second month on 7.5 😩

itwasnevermine · 04/10/2024 09:26

Good luck with your flu jab!! I have a horrendously sore arm after mine

Wingingit11 · 04/10/2024 09:36

I’ve been here from the start too!
I think there are so many people on this thread it sometimes feel you get lost which puts people off a bit

NippyCrab · 04/10/2024 09:40

Jeez oh I've missed a lot of posts haha

Checking in on weigh in day. 3lbs off this week after my wee pound gain last week! Another 2.5lbs to go for my next goal, that will be 2 stone since January and 1.5 stone on MJ since the 5th August.

Wooohooooo!! 💃💃🥳🥳❤️❤️💪💪

MelainesLaugh · 04/10/2024 09:41

I’ve been on here since starting mid August, but I feel a bit like the unpopular girl at school and not in the in crowd so to speak. So I tend to read but not post.

2lb more to go and I’m in the 14 stone bracket, somewhere I haven’t been for over 2 years. Staying on 5mg for another month. I’ve got good suppression, can’t manage a full dinner at night even with smaller portions, and I just don’t want to go up too quickly with the cost of the jabs. Especially as I’m buying mine and my DHs every month!!

poppym12 · 04/10/2024 09:48

I'm confused. I'm not losing weight on 5mg but I've lost almost 4 inches in a couple of weeks. How does that work?

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2024 09:49

Well done @NippyCrab

Awww @MelainesLaugh - sorry you feel like that 🥲

Have some flowers 💐

Please do join in with the mindless waffle that I post

Well done on being I. 14s bracket. Like me nuts an amazing feeling

poppym12 · 04/10/2024 09:51

That's amazing @MelainesLaugh. I'm still trying to get below 100kg but the last couple of weeks have been fluctuating around 100.4. I can't wait to see a 14 stone something too!

Snoopsteandcooper · 04/10/2024 09:56

I started on 7th August and am losing slowly. I'm on 5mg and am going to stay on this dose for another month. The scales are going down slowly, but clothes seem much looser. This is the lowest weight I've been in years, so happy overall

FlappingMadly · 04/10/2024 09:57

Possibly some people are not posting because it ‘s vulnerable. And many many go unacknowledged.
