Bit late to replying as I've been away in the wilds of Scotland! Took 2.5mg from my new 5mg pen as jab day was the day I travelled - and didn't fancy a 6 hour train journey with any new side effects.
I haven't tracked what I've eaten since then, and have had some amazing foods - local smoked salmon eggs benedict on the shore of a Loch, anyone! And had some beers. But, I ate when I was hungry rather than through boredom.or obligation. I also had a bit of a mental breakthrough - I find it difficult to 'waste' money on food I've ordered by not eating the full plate, but I found myself thinking that I could prioritise myself and not treat my body like a dustbin. I found that once I was accepting od the fact that I would, eg leave most of the chips, I stopped bothering me and I was able to enjoy the ones I did eat. Was amazed this morning to weigh in and have LOST weight again!
SW 98kg, BMI nearly 40.
CW 91.8kg, BMI just over 37 and over 6% bodyweight loss!
@suze12 ze12 I keep mine out the fridge, it's easier to inject etc. from the bedroom. My sharps box is in a storage box in my box room along with the needles, and the pen itself is in my knicker drawer. I kept the 2.5mg pen there for the full 30 days after opening and it was effective all the way through September.
@EBoo80 o80 I think there's something about weight loss causing hormonal changes which can impact menstruation. I've got a coil, but am a bit perimeno too, and my last period was 5 days longer than normal!
@Adelstrop trop For constipation - Prunes. Or dried apricots. I eat about 6 a day and it keeps things regular.
@mononymous If you use a syringe (insulin ones work) you can extract and measure the exact dose in ml. If you do a hard twist (I didd mine with my teeth, classy), it will turn from 0-1 which would be a full 2.5mg dose (unless you've used more priming it, in which case it will stop earlier).
