I've had some good weekly losses, 3lbs, 5lbs, 2lbs but I'm still wondering if I'm eating too many calories. I was using my fitness pal to track food. It is set for 1700 calories a day to lose 2lbs a week. My starting weight is high (currently 21st 6lbs) but I wondered if this sounded like too many calories?
I am only having 2 meals a day, I was never a breakfast person. But about 11am I'm having eggs with spinach and mushrooms, or eggs and avocado on a small slice of sourdough. Greek yogurt with peanut butter and fruit.
Dinner is always homemade, something like lasagne, cottage pie, curry. So I'm having a smaller portion with extra veg/salad for me.
I mean it's obviously working so I'm doing ok I think. I'm not snacking, I might have a square of chocolate some nights and I do reserve 250 cal a day for the occasional energy drink (another habit I need to bin off, but one step at a time)!
