@HeBeaverandSheBeaver the angles of those photos are different to one another so hard to compare, the weight lost pic is closer too so each looks more similar in a 2d image than probably in real life.
im not one for horizontal stripes at the best of times too, so maybe the stripes vs the block white of the t shirt doesn’t accentuate as much as you think. We often wear baggy clothes so people don’t know our shape underneath so when we’re brave enough to wear more form fitting clothing people don’t make the connection
go hunt out that t shirt in the heavier pic and do a comparative photo ☺️
I’m 1.5 stone down and nobody has apparently noticed, but then I don’t look overly different, the forward bloat is less (women of certain age.. 😣) so the width of me may not have changed so much. Oh sees it more I think than I do, it’s hard to really notice… except now now the jeans I’m wearing tomorrow haven’t gone anywhere near my behind since before the pandemic and even then they were tight. Not so much any more. I’ve lost 6” from my waist.
bear in mind that a lot of people are so busy with their own shit they don’t notice anything about others
i was talking to OH about this bigger subject add said that not all our friends ARE friends. Some of them have a vested interest in us being ‘the fat one’
there are some incredible people on the Juniper FB group who have lost staggering amounts of weight, like 3, 4 or 5 stone and nobody said anything positive to them. Or a snippy remark from the mother like I had when I lost a whole heap after DS was born.
Some of the things people say in Juniper about their partners or family is heartbreaking, just want to scoop them up and hold them.
