Just started.

Would be great to hear from others who are just starting.

First injection was was 28th July. No side effects so far. Appetite is decreasing but not as much as I've seen on other threads.

4 stone at least to lose.

Blimey, I only took my first injection a couple of hours ago and my usual bedtime cup of tea (Im a few hours ahead of the UK) won’t go down. I’ve managed half of it and I’m full. But not only that there’s an orchestra in my tummy and I have a bit of a headache. Am I imagining it😊

I’m afraid I wasn’t as disciplined as you! I had beef in black bean sauce but less than half of the portion. I had a spoonful of the fried rice, maybe two spoonfuls of the noodles with beansprouts and half a piece of sesame prawn toast!

I also had a slither of the Colin the caterpillar cake (everyone in my in laws gets this for their birthday regardless of age!)

Im still happy with that though, it was a fraction of what I might have had, I’m very full so I feel like the medication did its job in stopping me and I didn’t feel at all short changed in stopping. It’s been a crappy day and I was genuinely feeling brain foggy and awful, but feel fine now I’ve eaten.

I’ve not once gone over 1200 calories since I started (mostly stayed at or below 1000), even though my allowance is supposed to be 1400
so I think I’m well in credit even if today hasn’t been perfect. Focusing on progress over perfection and all that!

@CremeDeSudo I’ve been happy with the support from Voy so far to be honest, but I’m not sure it’s quite enough to justify the extra cost, and like you nobody is snapping my hand off for my discount code either so I might swap. I still think Voy were good for me to start with though - I was really anxious and I did find all the info, videos and guides on the app (as well as being able to speak to a coach which I did get to do) really reassuring.

Does it matter what time you take the jab

If you can’t have a sliver of cake in a birthday; is life being lived? It was quite easy to be disciplined the other day as I had no hunger and no food noise at all. Tomorrow, I will be eating, drinking and being merry. Life is for living. Though we are talking a slightly more relaxed meal and a couple of drinks. Feel I’ve earned it this week. So excited for my official weigh in tomorrow. Surely I must have lost weight when I’ve been so under on calories!

Does anyone know how reordering with your supplier works? Do they remind you? Or do you just go through the whole process again? I’m a bit early- still have two doses and a bonus dose left but I like to be prepared!

@Addictedtobeauty I ordered with Zava and had an email today to see how I was doing. I’m sure I’ll get a reminder to reorder.

im feeling really rubbish today. The past few days I’ve definitely not eaten enough. Today I was hungry (W2D4). I don’t think I’ve had a huge amount - a hummus/red pepper sandwich 2 slices protein bread. 1 extra slice of protein bread, 2 babybells and a small dinner with rice and stir fry. Oh and an apple. I’m not calorie counting, but literally feel like I may burst!

maybe just too much carbs? Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Hi everyone I'm just catching up, we've picked up our new puppy today and he's just zonked out 😂
It's my weight in tomorrow, I'm going to measure too.
I'm also going to switch from Voy, I'll do it Monday. I've asked a couple of questions to Voy and I've had generic answers back and then it directs me to the FAQS page and advises not to contact on multiple platforms. I joined initially for the discount but also the support looked good. I'm getting all the support from MN and our 2 groups.
I was looking at Oushk as someone mentioned them before, they are reasonably priced for a 2.5 and 5mg pen.
I'm wary of Medexpress due to the amount of issues people have had with deliveries.

Thanks @Usernamechangeforthis12 . I hope they do. I’ve just done a dummy run order and realised that my medicine came without a dispensing label. Not necessarily a problem if I stick with Ashcroft Pharmacy but I think this means I can’t easily swap supplier, which could be awkward in a month or do (as there are cheaper higher dose suppliers). I guess the order insert /invoice with the pen might work.

I'm switching away from them too! The support is not worth it at all. Just trying to find out who to go with, is medexpress really that bad? If it's not them it'll be Lloyds for me

Tomorrows my first dose too eeek. I am scared tbh.

I'm with Pharmacy2U and I haven't had a reminder yet but I've only just injected my third dose this evening. They did send me a £30 voucher though.

I've reordered today as I'll be on holiday when I'm due to start the next course and don't want it sat on my doorstep for days!

No, you need to do it to suit your life. I did my first injection when it arrived, which was around 3 or 4pm. My second one I did first thing in the morning, just in case I had a repeat of the first where I was bad 24 hours afterwards.

Did you have to fill out the questionnaire and upload a pic of your current prescription? I’ve done a dummy run on Ashcroft and I can’t see a way not to do this but it seems silly when they were my last supplier. I’ve sent them a message but I’m worrying about it now. The first injection they sent has no name label on it to say it’s mine.

Ohhh I'm panicking now. I threw all my boxes etc. away which included the pharmacy prescription sticker. I ordered through Zava and happy to order with them again although I've heard they won't prescribe once your BMI is under 30. Quite a bit to go but because I'm tall (5,8) my BMI doesn't do justice to the extra weight I'm carrying so I might reach it relatively soon.

@WitchDancer - it is indeed a strange feeling. My cup of tea almost defeated me this morning as well but I managed enough to appreciate it. I love my cuppa in the morning but for someone who’s overweight I haven’t taken any sugar or sweetener
in it for 50 years.

My sore tummy has stopped just in time for my 3rd dose! I have started to take Slippery Elm to see if that will help (it did when I had gallbladder issues). I think that I need to choose my food more wisely, even when eating smaller portions. It's hardly rocket science but it is taking some getting used to.

This thread is really helpful for me, thank you to everyone posting on it.

9lbs gone since Monday!!! I'm in shock. I thought last night it might have been wearing off from me but I woke up this morning and starting gagging so definitely not 🤣 absolutely over the moon
