Same here @Snozzlemaid mines coming off bum and also boobs too.

My jeans are sagging around the bum/hips, I can pull them down from the back without unfastening, but they strangely still feel tight around the front. I keep having to hoik them up whenever I stand up or walk anywhere. Previously tight bras are fastening on the 2nd loops now and straps are having to be tightened as the cups are not as full. It's good to start feeling shape is changing.

Callmejudith · 04/08/2024 08:00

My afternoon tea was a struggle yesterday and a shame because it was delicious! Is anyone else looking forward to having a slap up meal once they are off MJ or just me??

That's amazing! You've gone down 2 stone brackets in 2 months!! You must be feeling so much better!

QueenEthelTheMagnificent · 04/08/2024 09:24

Well it looks like we are about to book a holiday to Greece for the October half term!! So 2.5 months or so to go, going to be laser focused and try and lose 1.5 stone by then which will take my total loss by then to around 3 stone?? I always lose better when I have a target.

WheresSummer99 · 04/08/2024 09:52

@CoastalCalm that’s incredible lose, hope your feeling good.

weigh day for me I’ve now lost 10% of my starting weight & just done my measurements and it’s 3.5inches off B/W & H so 10.5” in total which is amazing for me. This drug is really targeting the fat holding zones on my body. I’ve been exercising through out & focusing on 3 meals plus upped protein and fasted 14-16hrs a day. Im in my 50s so to get these results is just incredible after trying to lose the same 2-4lbs over and over for the last two years! Doing exactly what I was doing as before but this time I’m losing 2-3bs a week just shows how insulin resistance my body had become in menopause

CoastalCalm · 04/08/2024 10:20

I’d love to say I’m feeling great but struggling with dizziness and some other issues and then I was told yesterday I have a large growth / cyst on my ovary after a mass was detected on a CT scan to check bowel (long term Crohn’s) but the positive is every pound lost will help with any surgery needed and longer term health

So my bikinis arrived for holiday in 10 days and they’re not actually that horrific! Belly is a flabby nightmare but a bit of fake tan won’t hurt

TheShellBeach · 04/08/2024 10:58

Well I'm back from my holiday and have only gained 1lb.

I'm quite surprised, because I had quite a lot of ice cream.
But I did feel the effect of the jab when I was eating meals. Couldn't finish anything.

So all in all, I'm very happy.

Back to the grindstone now.

CosyNan · 04/08/2024 11:41

March 7th I weighed 18 st 1 lb BMI 42.1

Calorie counting lost 12 lb in 15 weeks up to June 22nd when I started on MJ and after 5x 2.5mg and 1 x5mg lost a whole stone in 6 weeks

SW 17.3 BMI 40.1
CW 16.3 BMI 37.8

Hopefully soon be in the 15's but I'm delighted to have lost my 1st stone and get under 40 , still a long way to go but I could never have done it without MJ !

Newtonianmechanics · 04/08/2024 11:51

Well done on all your losses.
Week 9 for me too.

Week 1 -8 15.8
Week 2-3
Week 3 -2
Week 4-4
Week 5-5 14.0
Week 6 -2 13.12
Week 7 +1 13.13

week 8 -6 13.7

Week 9 -2 13.5

WheresSummer99 · 04/08/2024 12:18

Sorry to hear @CoastalCalm i hope they can offer treatment or you are not in pain. My sister had the same in her early 30s and had one ovary removed then made a good recovery and went on to have her son afterwards naturally. I don’t know your age bracket but if they do take it out do ask about HRT as she didn’t and has had some related health issues in her 50s from the oestrogen drop she had as a result. I hope the weight loss helps you.

WheresSummer99 · 04/08/2024 12:20

Similar as I was on holiday @TheShellBeach then the week I got back I whooshed 3lbs after a few days home back calorie counting. I think my body enjoyed a more relaxed week even though I couldn’t eat much I still ate holiday food of chips, fudge ice cream etc

Thanks , I’m not in any pain from it but I’m 52 now and post menopause so it looks likely they will surgically remove , to be honest I’m going to push for a full hysterectomy as have no need for those bits now 😃 I was joking with my husband earlier saying my 10cm cyst must weigh at least two stone too 🤣

Oh I'm so jealous of everyone's great losses! These are fantastic. I'm self employed and two of my clients didn't pay me on time this month and so o could only order my next pen yesterday. I'm so gutted and deflated and pissed off about it to be honest. I weighed in today too and have put on 2lbs. However not letting go that get to me too much. I came on my period Saturday morning so hoping it's that.

Well done everyone keep up the good work. I can't wait to start my 7.5! Hopefully that will do a nice big loss. Feel like I've been stuck this week. 🙏

thesugarbumfairy · 04/08/2024 21:22

Finally got into my next stone-zone ie into the 14's. Im down 21lb now and took dose 10 last night (5mg)
Am really happy. No i wont be a size 12 before im 50 (which is the end of this month LOL) but i certainly feel a lot happier in myself.

I took the train to London on a whim this morning to check out the Collectif closing down sale. Bought a few clothes in a size 16. I dont expect to fit into them for at least another two stones, but i feel like thats within my grasp now. It really didnt a few months back.

The main difference now i think, and whats stopped me being successful at losing, is the self sabotage. Before, when i lost significant pounds, id celebrate - with food. And after that id lose motivation. More food. Down the slipppery slope. Alcohol didnt help.

I had one of those teeny bottles of prosecco tonight (was at pub last night but driving, so no booze so i decided id have one today) Enjoyed it, but I just didnt want any more.

@thesugarbumfairy Congrats on hitting the 14s!! 🎉🎉🎉 So exciting 😁 I’m sitting on 15st 3lbs at the moment and would so love to be in the 14s by the time I go on holiday in 19 days! 🤞🤞🤞

@CoastalCalm blimey! 10cm sounds huge! Hope the dizziness etc goes soon 🤗

@daffodilandtulip Oh well done! That was my plan for this weekend but didn't quite manage it! Maybe tomorrow evening...

Went out for a roast today and struggled! Didn't eat potatoes or Yorkshire and honestly could have stopped after one slice of beef! Did manage some wine which is the first alcohol in nearly 4 weeks. Was nice but didn't want any more! 😱

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 04/08/2024 23:02

And meant to say - I ate about 3pm and am still too full to go to bed!!!
