@Greyrockin @Sewfrickinamazeballs smashing weigh ins!!

for the bonus dose I used a syringe. I’d definitely break the pen if I used the hard twist.

At my parents house and decided to try on a jacket I bought for a wedding 20 years ago - it bloody fits!

@Callmejudith tricky one! I am not forgetting to eat but just don't really want to 😬 I want breakfast but I think that's more to do with the fact I am in love with the egg/feta/smoked salmon combo than actual hunger! But then am really not bothered for the rest of the day🤷‍♀️ After the negative comments about 'dieting and missing meals' re your 'what I ate' thread, I tried really hard to eat 3 meals yesterday but really did not want the dinner!

@Lovingeveryrainbow I am thinking about another 5 but that is mainly because I'm side-effect free and have limited appetite. Have you had bad side-effects that make you worry?

@SarahB88 hope you are feeling less sick today x

@Sewfrickinamazeballs 5lbs!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

@Greyrockin whoop whoop for getting out of the obese category! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

@QueenEthelTheMagnificent I used a syringe to make sure I got it all out😁 (I'd also already had to do the hard twist to get my 4th dose out having messed up my first jab 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️)

@coffeeandteav not sure I want to read anything in the Mail tbh 😂😂😂

BTW, am listening to 'Why we eat too much' which was recommended by someone on the main thread. Absolutely fascinating science about the genetic predisposition to gain weight and be unable to lose it!

Batlady78 · 02/08/2024 13:36

I'm 7 weeks in, got my second 7.5 jab at weekend and am 10kg (stone and a half) down.

Whilst I'm (obviously) thrilled about that, I'm only at the weight where I started my last weight loss drive, so still feel fat when I remember that 😕

I'm glad though that my only major side effect is constipation which even the psyllium husk tablets weren't touching; I ended up trying EVERYTHING a couple of days ago - kiwi with skin on, prunes, a coffee, a peppermint tea, and finally a dulcolax. Safe to say I am now fully cleared out 🤪

I've got another month off work, and I really want the weight loss to be noticeable when I go back!

SW 103.6kg
CW 93.6kg
GW1 92kg
GW2 86kg
GW3 80kg

mcdle · 02/08/2024 15:13

@QueenEthelTheMagnificent o used hard twist, surprisingly easy but could have been luck, was deffo still a small bit left even after that so may get some syringes for next one

Lynsey14 · 02/08/2024 16:29

Yay! Amazing results. You must be so chuffed

coffeandteav · 02/08/2024 16:38

I honestly don't know if I can feel this sick every week. All I have done is waste my day. Luckily I wasn't work or I would have been no good.

Callmejudith · 02/08/2024 17:02

@Lynsey14 whoooooop! Love that!

@coffeeandteav did you go up to 7.5? I’m so sorry you are suffering so much

Callmejudith · 02/08/2024 17:03

@IReallyNeedThisToWork yeah I won’t lie the comments on that thread were very irritating!

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 02/08/2024 18:50

@coffeandteav hope 7.5 is kind to you. Just did mine.

@IReallyNeedThisToWork amazing results. 5mg was good to me too. What an amazing feeling that will be to be the lightest for years. You don't have long to wait!

@thesugarbumfairy maybe you are due a whoosh soon.

@IReallyNeedThisToWork second having strawberries. Great way to get fluids in too.

@SarahB88 hope you feel better soon. Feeing rough in this heat is the worst.

@coffeandteav sending feeing better vibes. Hopefully it's a quick process to adjust to the new dose. Does fee like this is a jab tax we have to pay

@Batlady78 try to focus on what you have achieved rather than what led you to here. Thats a fab loss so far

@Lynsey14 woop woop!

TheShellBeach · 02/08/2024 20:06

We're heading home after a week's holiday, so I'll be interested to see what the scales say when I get back.

Thank you.
The sickness and the sulphur are not a good combination.
Not been able to eat today.

coffeandteav · 02/08/2024 22:29

A jab tax is right.

QueenEthelTheMagnificent · 02/08/2024 22:44

Just done Jab 3. Feel like the suppression has waxed and waned a bit this past week, but I've been able to ignore the odd cravings and have stuck to my diet.

SW 17.12
week 1 - 14 l
Week 2 - 4.5lb
CW 16 7.5lb

1 inch off boobs
3 inches off upper tummy
3 inches off belly button width
1.5 off each thigh

tbh I'm glad my weight loss has slowed down from last week! It was actually a bit scary to lose that much in just a week. Tbh will be more than happy to lose 3-4lbs a week from now on.

off out shopping to Lakeside & Costco tmrw. Not sure how I feel about it, a bit worried about eating while out the house. Never used to give it a second thought! Daughter has promised to share a Mickey Waffle with me at Primark tho! 😜

daffodilandtulip · 03/08/2024 07:35

Ooo I found you all! Just done week 4 5mg, have a 7.5mg ready for next week. It's been a slow week after two weeks with lots of "food" events.

15th June SW 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 12st 4lb BMI 33.6

As a shortie, BMIs do annoy me but that's a massive difference! Total loss of 17lb in 7 weeks is making me so happy, but the difference being is that I'm carrying on happily - any other diet and I'd be bored by now.

I've noticed loads of differences this week - resting heart rate is down, leg oedema is gone and my rings fit! It was always my belly I hated, so it's really strange to notice all these other changes.

Callmejudith · 03/08/2024 07:49

Yey @daffodilandtulip we missed you!

I have an afternoon tea this afternoon - I struggle with them normally so not sure how it’s going to go. Hopefully DS will eat most of my cakes and I’ll eat his sandwiches

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 03/08/2024 09:13

Anyone else really looking forward to their legs going back to normal? Mine are so fat.

Callmejudith · 03/08/2024 09:46

Just arrived at the gym and my spin instructor commented on my weight loss straightaway - really feel like it’s starting to be visible

That's really good. What is that meme? After 12 weeks others notice.

For me it's my big hangy belly. My legs are strangely okish except the top, just a bit of chub rub in hot weather. I am a big barrel.
I don't know if the hang will ever truly go.

I have fat arms too.🤦‍♀️

Me!! My legs are my absolute worst part and I cannot wait to feel comfortable in shorts. Have loads of cellulite though so that might not happen

Actually tbf I have a hanging belly and fat arms too.

Although I think my arms are now a little less fat......

daffodilandtulip · 03/08/2024 11:21

Just been for a dog walk and the thread title made me laugh ... I did indeed have baggy pants that kept needing hoisting up!

Yes. Me too.
Every morning in the shower when I bend over to wash my legs I see the roll of fat sticking out above my knees.
Can't wait for that to go.
And also the big overhang belly too of course.
Mine seems to be coming of my bum at the moment. The trousers I have been wearing are now somewhat saggy around my arse.
