Started week one of the 5mg MJ- after 4 weeks of the 2mg- actually feeling hungrier! Whaaat? Lost 8lb in 5 weeks so don’t know if that’s typical. Had a good amount left over in the MJ pen but couldn’t wind it on to get anything out of it 🙁

You could have used a needle and syringe.

I'm finally into the 13's. My weight is crawling off, but its coming off at least. I haven't been 13 something for a decade.

I'm still not quite 2 1/2 stones down from my MJ start weight - i was hoping to get to at least 3 stones by November (seeing my hip surgeon then - he will want to know if losing has helped my joint pain - it has)

I am pleased with my reflection now - still fat at a size 18 - but not 'roly poly' fat - my figure has some definition.

TheShellBeach · 19/09/2024 17:23

Well done @thesugarbumfairy that's brilliant.

JomonotFomo · 20/09/2024 08:22

Brilliant @thesugarbumfairy it’s so exciting to hit under a new stone bracket!!

weigh in today and I am blooming delighted! Week 16 and I lost 4lb! So hit all of last weeks mini goals!

SW 15st12
CW 12st10
Total loss is 44lb so I am under 13st, lost 3st and my BMI is 29.8!!!

I don’t really have a target I guess the top end of healthy BMI would be around 10st 7.

thesugarbumfairy · 20/09/2024 08:57

@JomonotFomo wow you are going great guns there! I am a bit jealous LOL. But will keep chip chip chipping away at it.

Treated myself this morning to a tesco cafe breakfast - sourdough with avocado and feta and sundried tomatoes. You can tell the suppression is wearing off LOL. Its still under 500 cals though.
My stomach was rumbling like a ba*tard this morning though so I figured I'd fill it up a bit with some carbs.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 20/09/2024 12:35

@thesugarbumfairy yay!! Congrats on the 13s and for feeling comfortable with your reflection. That's a HUGE step!

@JomonotFomo woah!! Amazing to hit 3 targets in one go!! 🎉🎉🎉 My bmi has reached 36.something and I am amazed!

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 20/09/2024 17:14

@JomonotFomo what a week! Well done.

@thesugarbumfairy well done on getting to the 13s after such a long time. It must feel amazing!

@TheShellBeach the next weigh in is going to start with a 14! It's in the bag!

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 20/09/2024 17:20

I took a bit of my bonus dose from my final 7.5 pen yesterday as I've been on this for 8 weeks now and suppression was tailing off pretty quick. Man alive, back to feeling nauseous and icky. I know it will wear off by tomorrow but it's the first time since I started this that I thought 'do I want to do this again'? Lots of stuff going on at home and work so think I'm just a bit rundown and adding some self imposed ick to the mix hasn't helped.

My stats this week
SW 17st 7.4
CW 14 7.3
Loss of 2.8 this week.

Total loss, a whisker over 3st. Despite what I just said, it's still totally worth it.

Had an email from Voy that they are reducing the referral offers now. Definitely will move for my next pen as it will be so expensive even with a discount code.

Agreed.
I'll be moving once my free pens are no longer free.

Went to have a look at Voy 😁 Down to 30% and 60%!

Forgot to update my WI yesterday as work was manic….

end of week 14
SW: 13st 3.5
WI: 11st 1lb

After 2 weeks clicking to 2.5 I did a 3 week and it felt like too much so seems sensible to go back to 2.5 for my remaining doses. I should have about 4 weeks or so left and whatever I land at after that I’m happy with. I’ve hit all the mini targets I set myself so far - and I’ve lost over 30lbs. Nervous about switching to a life without MJ but excited to at least have the jump start! It’s all been worth it, even the days where I felt grotty.

Bitezbabe · 21/09/2024 08:12

Into the 3rd week of my holiday and hating not knowing if I’m losing, gaining or staying the same. Eating a bit more than I would at home but nowhere near as much as I would normally on a holiday. Think I would be happy if I’ve gained only a couple of pounds as I know they will shift quite quickly on I’m back to my normal routine. overly that quite a few people have commented on my weight loss and saying I’m looking well. 👏👏👏

daffodilandtulip · 21/09/2024 08:35

Week 14 weigh in and I'm back at the losses since my holiday.

SW 15th June 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 11st 5lb BMI 31
Total loss 30lb

That's almost 16% of my body weight gone! I feel so healthy and I'm noticing lots of changes to my body. I'm so close to being "overweight" and not "obese"!

achangeofnameisasgoodasarest · 21/09/2024 09:05

FInally the scales move this morning after moving up to 7.5!
Starting weight: 89.5kg
Now: 77.7 kg
Goal 65 kg
BMI 28.9

That's pretty much halfway there since June. Phew!

Callmejudith · 21/09/2024 09:44

Congrats everyone on the losses! I am going spinning this morning for the first time in a month I'm a bit scared.

Have another wedding on Friday and my two choices of dress are both too big. Can't afford a new one so just need to go with the better of the two.

Shame that Voy are bringing those discounts right down but I guess it's supply and demand. I'll forever be grateful that I managed to get my second pen completely free thanks to mumsnetters using my code!

VioletsHeart · 21/09/2024 10:19

Scales have started moving again for me. I’m the lightest I’ve been since my 20s. My husband has never seen me this weight. I’m completely loving weight classes at the gym twice a week and I’m starting to see muscle definition.

Staring weight, June 12th 12st 4.6
CW 10st 2.4
Next GW 9st 4
Goal range somewhere 8st something TBD

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 21/09/2024 11:33

NSV this morning! Have officially retired my 40D boulder holders and am comfortably wearing the 38s I had in my wardrobe that I must have bought in a fit of optimism at some point!! They do up comfortably and do not create rolls of back fat so I am a happy bunny! 😁

WheresSummer99 · 21/09/2024 11:43

Nice feeling isn’t it @IReallyNeedThisToWork i had bought some new 40G bras a month before starting MJ and they are huge now had to buy some new 38F which are more comfortable. I did do the boob or bust calculator which had me at a 36F but they were too tight. I love having smaller boobs as menoP had just blown them up like balloons! Even though they are still big by average stds the relief is heaven they are shrinking. I’ve never been smaller than a 36F so I doubt they’ll too much lower.

WheresSummer99 · 21/09/2024 11:46

Really interesting there’s a few of us lost the same amount over this timeframe, I’m 30lbs down with 10lbs to go but the loss has really slowed now to 0.5-1lb a week from a steady 2-2.5lb during the first 2 months. My bmi did wobble to 26.9 this morning after being stuck at bmi27 for 3 weeks now.

TheShellBeach · 21/09/2024 15:10

NSV today.

I bought a size 18 sweatshirt in July on Ebay for £4.

It's now much too big for me.
I'm slightly annoyed because I really like it, but glad because it shows that I'm losing inches.
😂

TheShellBeach · 21/09/2024 15:11

But argh!
Still 15st 1lb.

I've been 15st 1lb for 8 days now. Maddening.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 21/09/2024 19:56

@TheShellBeach I reckon you will have a woosh soon!

As an oversized jumper enthusiast, you can still make it work! You’ll look well dainty
