@GeorgiePorge the drug does build up in your system I’ve stuck to a low dose but this week I thought I’ll just do 2.5mg not expecting a huge amount and I’ve really been feeling it nauseous, lack of appetite more than normal. Someone shared a graph on the main thread how long the drug stays in your system. Or it could be a bug.

WheresSummer99 · 15/09/2024 11:59

@Newme24 its fab isn’t it we all started with such tentative thoughts of please let this this thing finally work for me after a lifetime of struggling with my weight this has actually worked!! I’m not gonna lie I’m scared how to get off it as when it feels like it’s wearing off I’ve felt compelled to eat more sugary things than I have done on it

TheShellBeach · 15/09/2024 13:33

Does anyone know which suppliers let you stay on it for maintenance, after you reach your goal weight?

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 15/09/2024 13:57

@TheShellBeach I have just read that Zava won't!

Oushk have released 3 different plans you can use and the Family Chemist have blogged about a similar approach.

I have read that Cloud let you stay on indefinitely.

I think most others are not saying anythong specific other than 'case by case basis' but I am not certain.

Brilliant!

Bottomless brunch was needless to say - messy but actually I'm starting to find I can drink a bit more without feeling horrific but I don't overeat which used to be the biggest issue with alcohol for me - as soon as the booze hit my bloodstream I overdosed on carbs!

I also have my boss over from the States this week but am going to do my very best to make decent choices.

@JomonotFomo @Sewfrickinamazeballs whoop whoop!! HUGE congrats on the 3 stone both of you!!!

Had a target busting morning here too as I got on the scales (I weigh daily but record weekly) and I have broken the 200lb barrier!!! 🎉🎉🎉 A mini target to tick off! Now onwards to 35bmi...

Trytowin20 · 16/09/2024 10:37

Logging in after holiday and a week's worth of hideous illness. Means I had 1.5 or so weeks without injection. Taken my 7.5 Saturday night just gone as I was feeling a bit better.

I have one more dose in the pen so I need to decide whether to go up to 10 or stick where I am.

SW 111kg
CW 98.9 kg 😁😁😁
Interim GW 97.1kg

I'm so chuffed especially going without it for a little while. Holiday was amazing, the cold from hell got off the plane home not so much 😫

Hope it's going well for everyone, I'm so glad I invested in myself, it's expensive but incredible. I'm smaller weight wise than I've been in years.

@Sewfrickinamazeballs @JomonotFomo @IReallyNeedThisToWork well done!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 16/09/2024 11:18

@Trytowin20 sorry to hear about the hideous cold 😔

My NSFail this week is that the hair loss is real! 😩😩😩 I do have a lot but it is still jarring to see how much I am shedding despite the biotin supplement, collagen powder, extra protein, biotin shampoo etc.

Hey ho. small price to pay for all of the MJ benefits I suppose!

SarahB88 · 16/09/2024 13:19

Did my final weigh in this morning! I’ve lost 12.3kg in 12 weeks which I’m pretty pleased with. I’m now back to the weight I was when I first met my partner.

SW 106.5kg
CW 94.2kg

I’m really pleased with where I’m stopping my journey at. Only stopping to conceive baby 2 and I do think that I’m going to do the jabs again after my next pregnancy as it was such a big help!

Good luck to you all on the rest of your journey!

Snozzlemaid · 16/09/2024 13:26

@IReallyNeedThisToWork Brilliant!. It's great to break through those milestones isn't it. Well done.
@SarahB88 Excellent news for you too. Good luck with baby 2 😃

Snozzlemaid · 16/09/2024 13:39

After now reaching a 3 stone loss my clothes all of a sudden look like tents!
Trousers are saggy around my thighs and bottom and tops are huge!
I've avoided buying new clothes as I hope to lose another 3 stone at least, but couldn't put it off any longer and had to do a quick/cheap shop online at SHEIN last night.
I know ethically not great but I don't want to spend lots on clothes that hopefully won't fit me by the start of next year.

WheresSummer99 · 16/09/2024 14:59

@IReallyNeedThisToWork ive had a lot of hair loss too despite many supplements I’m lucky I have thick hair but it’s a bit alarming if it carries on.
My 2weeks of iron supplements have helped with the dizzy head rush spells I was getting standing up.

daffodilandtulip · 17/09/2024 13:45

I realised last night, I don't know when it happened, but I don't have a dent in my shoulders anymore when I take my bra off, because it's bone and not fat now 😂

I've noticed that too!

TheShellBeach · 17/09/2024 15:08

I've noticed that too!

The little things are weird aren’t they? I just wanted to not have a huge belly but I’m noticing so many other changes that I hadn’t ever thought of.

Melty · 17/09/2024 18:09

Today's NSV
My tights!
I've been wearing xl boots support tights. (Am a nurse manager, and I wear a dress uniform as opposed to trousers and tunic) anyway they are big, up over tummy tights with a lovely extra panel over the bum. This morning: Huge....
I had a pile of M&S xl ones that I haven't been able to wear as they were a bit smaller and kept rolling down.
Tried on this morning and they fit, but a bit big. Can pull up to my bra. And they have been sliding down all day.
I mean probably helped by my shiny sloggy pants but I'll take it. 🤪

CosyNan · 17/09/2024 22:20

Hi all , I haven't posted for a while but have been reading your fantastic success stories, well done one and all x Really pleased for you and a bit Mounjealous to be honest !

I've lost 21 lbs since June 22nd,wish it was more but it's slow and steady, losing 1-2 lb a week and not gained at all . I know we're all different but I do compare results and feel down at times then give my head a wobble and congratulate myself on my more modest loss and too big bra

It's time to order my next pen and got a bit of a dilemma.I get good suppression on for the first 4-5 days on 5mg but really feel I should be going up to 7.5 now ,problem is I'm going away at the end of this 5mg pen and will have a 10 day gap in between that and starting the 7.5 so just a bit concerned that the gap and the increased dose would make me feel a bit yuk ?

What would you suggest ? Do you think a higher dose would result in a bigger weekly loss or longer suppression ?

Snozzlemaid · 18/09/2024 08:28

End of week 16 for me and I've had a great loss of 4.5lbs on my first week of 7.5mg.
I haven't felt much more suppression on this dose so far, but it's obviously working well.

SW 18st 6lbs
CW 15st 4lbs

Total loss of 44lbs
