I've never been slim, so genuinely no idea what clothes really suit me. My strategy has always been

1. What shops do fat clothes
2. What clothes in those fat shops fit me
3. What do I hate the least

Any tips?

@Sewfrickinamazeballs on clothes, I think this depends on the figure you have got now?

For example, I have a big bust so I have a balancing act between looking really matronly and looking like I'm trying to do some sort of busty barmaid event. I usually end up with a v neck top, but some high necks can work okay if I am careful. Then waist wise I'm okay, so I usually want something to emphasise that, but the bottom of my tummy isn't great, so I would never choose low rise jeans or trousers.

I usually live in dresses because I like the fact I don't have to make them go with anything, and they're really comfy - I'll add a contrasting or coordinating jumper in winter but that's not too taxing.

@VioletsHeart 👋😁 thinking about it this morning, I think it did! I can usually eat a bigger dinner on a Weds evening after jabbing but was unusually stuffed last night!

I also usually wake up hungry Thursday morning before it all seems to kick in during the day but haven't made it to breakfast yet 🤷‍♀️ (2 hours ahead here and have been up for a fair while!)

@Sewfrickinamazeballs what an achievement! Maybe have a look on instagram for styles/shapes you like and then go and try some on? 😂 @ trying on clothes in a shop! That's been a while for me!!

Off to Turkey for 3 weeks later today. Just did my second jab of my second 5 mg pen. I am doing 5 doses of 4 mg. So far so good. Wondering how I will manage on holiday as I won’t be able to weigh myself and obviously I’m going to be more tempted by yummy food and drink. Usually I put on half a stone so hoping a couple of pounds or if I’m lucky staying the same.
Was lovely trying on holiday clothes that were tight in June but now fit well. Can’t wait to be on my sunbed reading my book. 👙☀️🌴👙☀️🌴

@Bitezbabe I am in Turkey now and have found it fairly easy with all of the fish and the meze👍 As I said before, I had bought travel Renpho scales but forgot them so really am just winging it!

My downfall will be the lovely bread they serve with the meze. I haven’t eaten any bread for 9 weeks!! Feel so much better cutting it out. It’s a bit like a drug for me. Once I start I just can’t stop. Need to be strong. 😂😂

@Bitezbabe I head you! I have actually been a bit underwhelmed by the usual bread this year tbh. 🤷‍♀️

Now the hot balloon bread and the simit are a completely different story!!!!😂😂😂

Whoop after eating too much the last two days as I was feeling very meh I went and did my longest run for a couple of years this morning in the rain. Loading up on carbs the last two days definitely fuelled me well and my weight has gone back to the lower point I had on Monday. I’m definitely noticing a pattern of needing a re-feed every couple of weeks and then using it to boost my exercise again. Previously that overeating couple of days would have led to a F**k-it attitude binge but on MJ I’m resetting myself quickly and back to calorie deficit wanting to eat healthy again.

Hope you enjoy your holidays and those like me with back to school/education/work demands on time are feeling good as we all float lighter into the autumn.

@Sewfrickinamazeballs that's bloody brilliant! Maybe look at colour first and find a top you like in that colour?

Everyone is doing so well. Jealous of the Turkish meze though.

I've adjusted ok after holiday, haven't made it to the gym yet but have sports tonight. I'm away again this weekend but will limit the booze. Also planning to jab 2.5 tonight

Third dose of 7.5mg pen dose today

Total loss: 28.6 lb

Slight gain of less than 0.8 lb - but I do have my period so to be expected.

Not really finding 7.5 mg to be that effective so just ordered the 10 mg pen from MedExpress for £189.99 (ouch!).
Once order is confirmed I am going to try to see if they will pricematch The Family Chemist who has the 10 mg for £159 - I didn't realise til after I'd ordered and MedExpress has been fine for me so far so I don't want to bother with hassle of changing if I don't have to.
They state they will pricematch if it's the same product from a UK pharmacy so fingers crossed.

So after last night's arm experiment, I have to say I am just not hungry!

I thought I was coming to the end of my time on 5mg with my 8th dose but nope, this is like the beginning again without the constipation!!!

Off out to try and tempt myself with some dinner having not eaten anything except a single, solitary almond since breakfast 🤦‍♀️

honestly this is life changing
the side effects are still a two weekly cycle
which is annoying but the Voy gp is not worried.

im still on 2.5mg and think I will try for another month. The suppression isn’t as strong but I am determined and have revolutionised my diet. In starting to see it in my face and am thrilled to say I have baggy pants 🩲 😝

Last week I injected into my leg after 2 allergic reactions using either side of my stomach but it was definitely less effective. I over ate for the last 3days so jabbed a day early back in my stomach and went up just a fraction. Today I’m really struggling to eat I’ve had to force my self to eat a couple of things as I was getting dizzy light headed. I don’t like that feeling. It has scared me though how quickly last week I wanted to overeat again when it wore off. I have reached 15% off my starting weight and hope to drop another stone but I’m getting worried about how to maintain that. I’ve been working hard on healthy choices & exercise every day.

@IReallyNeedThisToWork literraly a couple more clicks. I’ve been a super responder stuck at 2.5mg for weeks, then to 3mg and only went to 3.3mg of a 5mg pen! I really do feel the impacts quickly. I have a very “sensitive ND” system I can’t tolerate perfume smells with out getting a headache &we have virtually no aerosols in the house either. My youngest DD is wired the same is autistic & has high level of sensory needs. So I’m guessing it’s just my genetics. I’ve eaten a few small things today and kept drinking water so feeling bit better tonight.

Could you maybe try the slightly increased dose in a thigh or are the reactions too unpleasant?

One place I really would NOT recommend for you is an arm as I have had the strongest suppression so far from there!!

Yeah I won’t do my arm then I hope you feel ok. It’s crazy how we all respond differently. I’m quite short so I do wonder if overall body weight & height impact effectiveness too.

5ft 2 here but still 14 1/2 stone ish ( been on holiday for 15 days now so 🤷‍♀️).

And I feel bloody marvellous thank you! It's reinvigorated my 8th dose of 5mg ❤️

Total loss 2 stone in 12 weeks. BMI is now 31 and I've lost 15% of my body weight. Allllll the pretty dresses for my holiday 😄

I'm still jabbing today as I don't get side effects, so it'll be good to not overindulge, but I'm not going to worry about it too much, I know I can deal with it when we get back.
