@Greyrockin I had exactly the same message from them today. Like yours, my pen was definitely not fridge temperature. I wondered if they were packing with incompletely frozen packs because of trying to fulfil more orders than they can cope with. I presume the other advice is to use the pen within 30 days, which I won't do.
This seems to be saying that, as you can keep a pen out of the fridge for 30 days once opened, a pen that has been at room temperature even for a very short time will continue degrading even if it is then stored in a fridge so also has to be used in 30 days. But I'm not a scientist so don't know how likely that is.
The problem is that no one seems to have any luck challenging zava; even though you and I both know we received room temperature pens, they will just keep saying that their packaging means it was fine.

Greyrockin · 22/07/2024 22:07

@Fromthesidelines, it occurred to me that they hadn't used frozen ice packs too.

There was an interesting post on the continuing Mounjaro thread pointing to Eli Lily's guidance on storing the pens, which I've now reminded Zava of:

Finally reached the magical stone! And to do that in 5 and a half weeks is also quite magical...

SW 15th June - 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 12st 7lb BMI 34.2

(Still another 1 and half stone to go to not be obese!)

achangeofnameisasgoodasarest · 23/07/2024 07:54

@daffodilandtulip very well done! My period has finally arrived, and so the scales are finally shifting downwards again.
SW 89.5 kg
CW 81.5 kg
GW 65 kg

This is week 7

Tirzepatide · 23/07/2024 08:03

Well done @daffodilandtulip !!

I've got the same start date as you, and I'm 13.2 lbs down - looking forward to hitting that milestone too!

Callmejudith · 23/07/2024 10:01

@daffodilandtulip that's brilliant well done!

We are going away tomorrow for a week with a wedding at the weekend. I usually jab on a Wednesday evening but I'm going to bring it forward to tonight rather than having to take the pen away with me. The wedding is going to be an interesting experience as usually there is loads and loads of food and booze but as long as the music is good I should be able to have a couple and then just dance. I was contemplating skipping a dose but that scares me more!

Then that'll allow me to get in 5 doses before my big holiday at the end of August

coffeeandteav · 23/07/2024 11:47

Callmejudith · 22/07/2024 17:55

We are going away on Wednesday for 6 days, I was pondering whether to miss a dose but have decided against it.

I took mine 2 days late and weirdly I didn't feel sick this time. Must be because I am used to 5mg.

hoarahloux · 23/07/2024 12:01

BMI under 35 today!

MJ333 · 23/07/2024 12:06

I have been lurking a bit but thought might be useful to update. I did have jab day as a Wednesday but started pushing doses to 8 days to prepare for going away for 8 days so I didn’t have to take the pen. So I was due to take my 6th dose (still 2.5 as suppression was working well) on the Friday we went away but then I bloody forgot!

So ended up having a week off it and took 2.5 on Saturday just gone when we got back. In a way it was nice to have a week off but I do feel my appetite was still different than usual. I’d put on half a pound when I got back so not too bad given we were in the holiday mood. Annoyingly the 2.5 dose on Saturday gave me a crippling headache on Sunday, much like I had in the very first week, not fun to experience the side effects for a second time. My suppression is nowhere near as good as it was the first month of 2.5 though so I most likely will go up to 5mg when this pen is finished. Next time we go away, I’m taking the pen with me!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 23/07/2024 12:23

@mcdle How are you doing today? It's so hard not to fall into your usual behaviour when in those situations😩
@daffodilandtulip whoop whoop for your first stone! Amazing achievement!!

@Greyrockin @Fromthesidelines so frustrating for you! Well done for following up with evidence from Lilly as some suppers seem to be making the rules up as they go!
@Callmejudith 💃💃💃

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 23/07/2024 12:25

@hoarahloux ooo! Well done you! Mine slipped under 40 last week which was a relief despite me thinking bmi is complete bollocks! 😂

TheShellBeach · 23/07/2024 12:27

Today I'm 16st 8lb.

I started at 17st 12lb

That's 18lb down in under a month.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 23/07/2024 12:32

@MJ333 sorry to hear you're suffering all over again. Interesting that you think your appetite continued to be different during your week off and you still managed to lose. Did you not feel hungry or just not bothered about eating the things you normally would on holiday?

My big question is though, HOW did you forget to do your jab?😱 I find myself thinking about the next one and 'Is it Wednesday yet?' a LOT!!😂

hoarahloux · 23/07/2024 13:11

It is bollocks but it's another nice number going down 😆

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 23/07/2024 13:12

@hoarahloux very true! Great way to look at it! 😁

Maintaining: It looks like MedExpress are contacting customers re maintenance - good news!

"You’ve done the hard work and reached your goal weight - so what happens next?

We understand you might feel anxious at the thought of stopping weight loss medications once you achieve your target weight or a healthy BMI.

We do not stop your injectable weight loss medication once you reach your weight loss goals.

Callmejudith · 23/07/2024 15:17

I think I may change over for next pen, does amy moun june o want me to use their code?

Just had my latest Asda one so would be in a couple of weeks.

Does Voy allow maintenance doses?

mcdle · 23/07/2024 18:55

Brilliant news, I'll stick with Med Express now 🎉

Well done on the losses!!

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I'm feeling much better thanks, was a rough night though so won't make that mistake again in a hurry. Had another work lunch today and I stuck to grilled chicken salad and water. We've got lots of people leaving (vol redundancies) so I have 5 more between now and next Thursday ... pray for me 😂😂

Yes.

MJ333 · 23/07/2024 23:03

@IReallyNeedThisToWork i know, right?! I’d been thinking about it so much in the lead up but we left v early and it was just all a bit of a rush.
Appetite wise on hol, it was a definite mix of not fancying stuff I’d usually fancy, but also when I was eating something I just didn’t want it all. I shared a cake with DS and left some of it- unheard of for me to not even want half a cake! Just generally noticed my portions were still on the smaller size. Hoping to see some better losses in the next fortnight though 🤞🏻

SuperSange · 24/07/2024 07:21

I'm moving up to 10mg next week, having steady 2-3 losses per week. I'm thinking ahead now to when I'm getting to 20-24 weeks. How do the different suppliers deal with continuing treatment? I'm thinking of sticking with click or med express, but wanted to know how they deal with longer term users. Thank you!
