Four days into 3.2 mg (2.5 mg bonus dose) and suppression is high. I couldn't finish my breakfast (at 11 am) and have only now just finished it off. Definitely no plans to go up to the full 5 mg on Friday now - will be click counting, to what I don't know...maybe just 3.5 mg.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 16/07/2024 15:58

Can I join the baggy pants brigade? Smile

I got brave and thought a size 18 swimming costume today. Haven't bought anything in that's size for years, don't even own any size 18 stuff anymore. My clothes all still fit but as I am a baggy mess anyway, I haven't really noticed anything getting loose.

It only went and bloody fit!

Yaaaay!!

I bought some size 18 tops and they arrived today. They're actually a bit loose.

It's weird because my loss has really slowed down.

I must be losing inches.

DH said he could see a difference this morning.

Callmejudith · 16/07/2024 16:29

We are definitely going to need a pants reference in our next thread title. Amazing on the swimming costume!

achangeofnameisasgoodasarest · 16/07/2024 16:35

Indeed - fab swimming costume news too!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 16/07/2024 16:59

@Sewfrickinamazeballs WHOOP WHOOP on the swimsuit! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

JomonotFomo · 16/07/2024 17:04

ooh loving these nsv friends!!

Im sooo close to be able to wear a pair of actual jeans, not just leggings!!

Summerheels · 16/07/2024 18:24

Ooh I’m sore today thought I was reasonable fit but decided I need do get stronger so re-started The Shred L2 Jillian Michaels dvd and my quads are sore & my tummy muscles are feeling it today. I was laughing at the comment above as Jillian mentions “bathing suit shopping” whilst your feeling like giving up (I was red sweaty mess by that point!) Well Done on the swimsuit & Jeans NSVs

This made me laugh quite a lot. I downloaded the methreesixty app. The measurements are nonsense but i think the scans are useful.
Anyway, one stone down and i literally cant see any difference when i look in the mirror
Well apparently thats because that entire stone was on my massive shelf arse. Look at the difference 😂😂

This really made me laugh 😂 (I mean your comment, not your body shape btw).

I started using this app last month and my 360 is hideous. I'm planning on doing it each month to hopefully see some progress.

Amazon Prime day has made purchase the Eufy scales I've had my eye on. I just hope they don't say I'm heavier than the ones I've been using and mess up my nice downward charts.
The ones I'm using at the moment are ds's and he's moving out soon so I do need to get some of my own.

Callmejudith · 16/07/2024 20:27

I had an idea to start a new thread “what I ate today on MJ” thought it might be helpful, what do the baggy knicker crew think?

SarahB88 · 16/07/2024 20:41

@Callmejudith that would be really helpful and interesting to see!

I’ve just ordered some protein powder to help me when I move on to 5mg on Monday. I’ve also signed back up with my old PT so he’s going to do me a postpartum exercise plan and I’ll see him for 1 session a month. Really looking forward to that, it’ll be a huge help with the weight loss journey.

Food comparisons sound good!

Sorry about re-posted chart (that was for another thread!)

4 weeks since my first jab weigh in:
SW 12.4
CW 11.5 1/2
GW 9.5

I'm pleased with the loss although in the last two weigh ins I've lost 1lb and 1 1/2lbs so has really slowed. I'm definitely in calorie deficit and keeping my water up plus exercising regularly so not sure what else can do. As long as the teen continues downwards I'll carry on as there's no way I'd have stuck to calorie deficit for 4 weeks without it. Started 5ml pen so let's hope that gives me a boost.

Anyone else having this sort of slow down?

I’m a slow loser @mcdle, but I have to remind myself that the 2.5 dose is designed to get my body used to Mounjaro, it’s not meant to be a dose that I lose weight on (but happily I am and I have appetite suppression and less food noise). I’m on week 3 and have lost about 6lbs, but I’m going to continue on 2.5 for another month as I definitely can feel this dose working, even if the loss isn’t as great as some others.

Callmejudith · 17/07/2024 08:26

Massive NSV for me today. A few months ago I bought a denim jumpsuit with a zip up the side thinking “oh that will fit”. The zip wouldn’t event go up one inch! I’ve been trying it on every week and this morning the whole zip did up!!!

JomonotFomo · 17/07/2024 08:31

Love that @Callmejudith

I am teetering at 14st come on body tip into the 13s by Friday weigh day!!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 17/07/2024 09:16

WHOOHOO @Callmejudith Amazing NSV!!

Yes, I'm slowing down, and have also just started the 5mg pen.

I'm sure it's normal, although it'd be nice to lose half a stone every week.
😂

Summerheels · 17/07/2024 10:15

Whoop @Callmejudith i love wins like that as they make you feel so good. I’m actually getting my waist back as I’m a hour glass shape but was turning into a barrel recently.

my small win yesterday was I was really stressed at work which normally would result in me eating a lot of sugary carbs afterwards to “process” my day but instead I had a small dinner with a hot chocolate and I was satisfied. Retraining this part of my brain that it doesn’t need a chocolate hit in times of stress is great.

WheresSummer99 · 17/07/2024 10:38

Does anyone need to reorder as I found Zava the cheapest using someone else’s code on here £122 for 5mg pen. I’d be grateful if mine can be used too.
Use my code and you’ll get 15% off your first order at ZAVA: REFBF2R3

@Callmejudith that's awesome!

@JomonotFomo hope you see the 13's soon.

Love this group!

@JomonotFomo big fingers crossed for 13s!!!

I also love this group, since I’m keeping MJ a secret it’s wonderful to have somewhere to have somewhere to waffle on about it

Snozzlemaid · 17/07/2024 13:35

I'm at the end of week 7.
5 weeks on 2.5 and 3 now of 5mg.
5mg is working fine so far so I've ordered another 5mg.

SW 18st 6lbs
CW 16st 11lbs

Losing a consistent 3lbs a week and delighted with this. It feels like a good amount to keep me motivated without being too much too quick.
