I think some of the tiredness is our bodies adjusting to getting its energy from harder to access sources. My consumption of sugar & easy carbs has dropped 80% and replaced by protein & veg & fruit but when I’ve been struggling with tiredness a banana or apple has really helped.

That’s a very very good point! My body is no longer fuelled by caffeine and crap!

fairydust11 · 07/07/2024 10:54

Congratulations @Callmejudith I think those kind of positive comments are just the best boost!

Thanks yes, I’m definitely going to try injecting tomorrow evening for this week’s dose.

Meanwhile, my 18yo is autistic and when I said can you tell I've lost half a stone, she replied "yeah but you're still fat" 🙈

@Summerheels my second is autistic and not a sleeper too. My others apart from my youngest have all been varying degrees of awful. So I have picked up a lot of “helpful” tips over the years 😂

My dd never slept also she is adhd and autistic. She also has arfid so is very skinny and we have to have meal replacements on prescription.

I feel so sick and weak on 5mg. I walked upstairs and my heart rate went up to 150. My blood sugar must be low. I am so tired. I managed to get round Morrisons some how. I bought cashews as I read they help prevent gallstones that I am over focusing on. That an pancreatis. I hate over thinking.

That’s how I’ve been feeling too , when I stand up it feels like all my energy drops out of my arms

coffeeandteav · 07/07/2024 15:44

@CoastalCalm I just want to lie down all of the time. I feel a bit better after some fruit juice.

@daffodilandtulip Got to love brutal honesty.

Tirzepatide · 07/07/2024 17:16

I take mine between 4.15 pm and 4.45 pm on a Friday @fairydust11 - nothing to compare it to as that's all I've ever done (4x) but no issues with it so far.

Pleased to say that I've had good suppression the last two days - after saying I wasn't getting much on 2.5 mg now! At least I'm getting it at the start of the week anyway. Hoping to get more that 0.6 ml as a bonus dose this week and see how much difference that makes. If not then I'll have to wait until I go up to 3.75 mg the following week.

Is anyone thinking of doing something other than every 7 days?

fairydust11 · 07/07/2024 18:36

Thanks @Tirzepatide, @IReallyNeedThisToWork I am praying the late afternoon/early evening dose will be a bit better for me, I have previously taken my other 3 early or mid morning & have felt so tired, with a lot of restless energy at night, so hopefully I’ll be feeling more tired in the evening with a bit more energy in the day 🤞

Callmejudith · 07/07/2024 18:46

For dinner I just had ready prepared chicken thighs with some veg, really nice warmed up and good protein. I’m not hungry in the slightest but I’ve realised if I don’t have protein in the evening I am a mess the next morning.

Also been adding frozen banana and almond butter to my protein shakes for more calories

Callmejudith · 07/07/2024 18:51

@CoastalCalm @coffeeandteav so sorry to hear you’re both suffering. Not really sure what to suggest to be honest but wanted to reply.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 07/07/2024 18:52

Had a fabulous time at the bbq yesterday (despite the pouring rain!!) and only ate a chicken skewer, a sausage, a spoonful of potato salad, couscous and green salad. Normally I’d have been knee deep in the potato salad as she does make an exceptional one but a spoonful was enough and there was no urge to have more!!🎉

However… too much wine seeped to slip down far too easily and I felt hideous overnight and then even worse today 😩😩😩 I had been doing so well with wine and cut my bottle-a-day habit down to just a glass or two but it was just too easy to sit and chat and sip and now I am paying the price 😬

Callmejudith · 07/07/2024 19:05

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I’ve become scared of my beloved wine! Beer was bad enough. I did read on FB that charcoal tablets can help so I’ve got some of those. I have a big retirement do on Thursday and would like to enjoy a couple of Proseccos

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 07/07/2024 19:09

@Callmejudith I hear you! Definitely don’t plan on doing this to myself again anytime soon🤢 Although it did get rid of the metallic taste for a while yesterday! 😁

Happycyclist · 07/07/2024 19:29

I had way too much to drink last night... Previously I would have shaken it off but instead today has been ruined by headaches and a really gyppy tummy.

I just need to take the (lousy) experience as a learning point and not repeat it... Ever.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 07/07/2024 19:34

Sorry to hear you’re in the same state @Happycyclist ! It’s rough isn’t it?!

Normally, I would eat my way out of a hangover and did get a burger and chips (have my son and partner here at the moment and they both wanted one) but only managed a few mouthfuls of burger and about 10 skinny chips before I was full. Had to say I felt too rough to finish it all 😬

hoarahloux · 07/07/2024 19:58

I'm on week 3 of 2.5 and up and down with suppression. I've slipped with some alcohol this weekend and definitely snacked, however drank less than I normally would have and eaten less also. When I was doing intermittent fasting 16:8, I always found the day after having a drink impossible to fast through, I was hungry in the morning and couldn't stop snacking. On MJ I'm not finding that at all. It's all positive, even with a big slip and a gain on the scales its all less than previously. I have to keep that in mind.

Callmejudith · 07/07/2024 20:58

Another weird side effect - my nails are growing ridiculously fast!

Thank you. I feel a bit better tonight.

I read something on facebook saying that food noise is replaced with MJ noise and I thought how true.

Shhheet is that a pain On my what if I have gall bladder issues and pancreatiis, is that a pain no its not a pain. I need to wee again. Have I lost muscle better up my protein and on and on.

Ooooo, I wonder if mine are? I take biotin and currently have builder gel on for the first time as they’ve been awful with flaking etc. Having it done pretty much coincided with starting the jabs though so who knows what has helped!

THIS!!! OMG YES!

I think about it a lot of the time! I’ve had family here over the weekend and have been out at social stuff and I need to come and get my fix of these threads! 🤦‍♀️

100% agree!! I could post on this thread 100 times a day. Obsessed!

GossamerGirl · 07/07/2024 22:09

Took my first 5mg dose today. Hoping this has an effect! 2.5 mg made no noticeable difference to appetite and food noise for me.

Hi everyone, I've just logged into my Zava account (ordered my second pen from them) and it doesn't look like a subscription system like Voy - you have to re-order each time? Does that mean new photos/id every time I order, does anybody know? Thanks!
