Joining in... I started Wegovy 14th January at BMI 32 and am down almost two stone now, thanks to some good recent losses. I never actually wanted to lose too fast because I decided taking it slow, lessening side effects, keeping doses as low as possible and allowing my body to adjust was best.
As you can see from my chart (Happy Scale app), I had a blip in April and another in July. In April, I visited a friend for the weekend and it knocked me out of my rhythm - for quite a while - I was late back home, missed a dose and I ate a lot. I really should have gone up a dose then, but stayed on 0.5 too long. I think July was a cluster of social activities where the only food available didn't match my low-carb plan while I indulged in a few large glasses of wine.
After that, I bucked my ideas up. I upped the dose a little and made an effort to stick to an eating plan. Wegovy makes sticking to the plan easier, but I really have to tell myself 'this is the way it's going to be' and not be pushed off track again.
I'm now up to 0.75 dose and taking it in two halves across the week (I love counting clicks!) and I find this is a lot better for smoothing out my relationship to food. I now have enough pens to last me into next year with some for tapering (I stocked up because of shortages at the time and being scared to start - and I've been making pens last by counting clicks to get a lower dose from a higher dose pen). So I've bought my last pen and my credit card is relieved.
I wanted to share this chart with you to show that even if it seems things are going slow, at least they are going in the right direction. And suffering a blip doesn't mean you have to throw in the towel.
When I started down this road, I told myself I would be on the drug for six months, but I soon realised I needed it to change my behaviour and a year is probably better for doing that.
