Come one, come all.

Getting married? Come and tell us about it so you don't have to go on the scary Bridezilla forums.

Oh, bless her. Majorca girl was so cool about the dress.

I'd refuse to do the underwater thing. Flat out refuse. Mind you, if my DP thought that I would ever think that was fun, I'd call the whole thing off anyway, as he obviously wouldn't know me at all!

If we went on DTTB they'd probably get me to say I DO at the top of an mountain bike black run before doing the trail in my frock. Nothing like a mudsplatted bride with grazes on her knees and elbows to make for good TV ratings.

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 14:27

DP would choose the sofa in our living room for the ceremony :o

I'm late, but I'm in. This might stop me from boring my friends to death!
And I would have refused to do the underwater one too. Although I think she nearly did as well!

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 14:47

Hello Youremindmeofthebabe - when's your wedding? Have you got much decided/booked?

memphis83 · 24/10/2012 15:17

akiss I love irregular choice shoes, I actually love those navy ones minus the bird but I could get rid of that, We own a haberdashery I get lots of ideas from customers.
On DTTB I can't believe they don't know them at all to do the stuff they do, My dp would forget all the tiny details but would get me a nice dress and shoes, he knows shoes and tiara mean the most and we both dont like fussy clothes so wouldn't get me a dress where I look like I have been rolled in crystals and glitter.

Did anyone go the Nation Wedding fair a few weeks ago? I went and founf an amazing tiara....it was £500, the birdcage veil was £75 Shock my mum wanted to buy it as I want something quite striking, I have since found a woman up North who will make me one but my mum was proper mumzilla wanting me to have it....just to make it clear, this is quite a low key wedding and my dress was less than that. I also found these amazing unusual invites which I had my heart set on but now I have seen those wedding teatowel I want those!

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 15:22

What are these unusual invites like, memphis?

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:23

A tiara for FIVE HUNDRED ACTUAL POUNDS? Was it made of diamonds?

I did go to the National Wedding Show thing. Got a bit drunk with WeddingPlannerZilla and won a prize draw for £200 off a photographer.

Welcome to our quiche, Youremindme :) Tell us all about your plans!

Do you plan to redeem that voucher, Toby?

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:29

Oh yes. I've booked with her already. Here.

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 15:32

That link won't work for me Sad

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:33

Ha! Me neither. Try this one.

OP posts:
TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:33

Nope. That one doesn't work either!

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:36

Bugger. Looks like her website is knackered.

Any idea of the price of the tea towel invites?

Wedding stationary to me seems the biggest waste of money. Who keeps the order of service or invite? So the tea towels would be good if they aren't too pricey.

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 15:40

Wedding tea towel invite prices

I remember thinking they were comparatively pricey....

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 15:41

Does she have a facebook page Toby?

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 15:42

Also, quite a few photographers websites get updated/overhauled/rebuilt in autumn so hopefully it's just that.

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:43

They are expensive! We got our invitations from Vistaprint. Designed them ourselves, got extra information cards printed in the same style, got 60 of each with envelopes for about £60, delivered.

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 15:45

Oh, it'll be fine. Can't find her on FB. She did say when I met her that she doesn't do much online.

catinwitchyboots · 24/10/2012 15:57

Have you got your florist yet Toby?

TobyLerone · 24/10/2012 16:02

We're buying flowers from a wholesaler and doing them ourselves. I'll be the only one carrying flowers. The rest will be on the tables etc.

OP posts:
ViviPru · 24/10/2012 16:04

Your flowers look like the sort of shade AKiss was thinking about, cat, what time of year was your wedding?

ViviPru · 24/10/2012 16:09
