Sounds like you have it all sorted, love te bridesmaid dresses, I want my bm in something like that but navy.
My ds will be 3.5 I didn't want him in a suit as I want him to be comfy and warm as it is in March. So we have bought him shirt, tie and tweed trousers and waistcoat from m and s hten in case its cold as there is no heating a nice duffle coat and would lve a little bowler hat! He is obsessed with being warm!
My new panic is Richard III being found and the funeral for him will be early next year...our wedding is in building next door so if it was same weekend we will have to change date or venue.y mum says o plus side they will clean up the surrounding area so will look nicer!

So yes, we've just got to organise when we're going to paint the hall, then sort out what we're feeding people in the evening, what drinks we're having, and how we're going to do it all with no catering staff.

That all sounds very smart everything ! I only have my DS (who will be 20 months), 3 bridesmaids and a best man (who is a woman) to think of. Bridesmaids are in these - it's a lot more white than it seems in that picture. I really wanted all white long dresses for the bridesmaids, so that my dress stands out as it is covered in gold and quite intricate. I also have bright orange hair, with blonde highlights. In the photos I want to be the one that catches the eye, and I didn't want to be lost by a bold bright block colour behind me.

Best (wo)man will be buying her own black trouser suit and silk ivory open collared shirt, and killer cream heels. DP will be in black tails with ivory waistcoat and cravat, possibly a touch of gold in there - we've not seen them in the flesh yet, and grey pinstripe trousers.

Can't decide for DS. I find the little boys tuxedo suits so cute, but a bit uncomfortable dressing my little boy up as a grown up. It's a shame you can't get cute little outfits for boys like you can for girls. So I'm thinking of this as I have gold as a theme, with smart brown/cream linen trousers.

My dress is off white with gold lace applique, pearls and beads all over.

That is frustrating! We live miles away from any of our guests, no friends or family nearby for them to stay at. I've no idea what any of them are doing!! We have two spare beds, but I guess we'll have to give those to our close family/bridesmaids.

Nearest Travelodge with space block booking and a minibus? Camping?!

DP's family are local and can put some guests up if need be. We could give people the keys to our house and let them kip here if it comes to it. It's mainly people coming from abroad, and from London who we need to find something for.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

I'll try to sort out a Flickr in the next few days with a few photos for those who want them. Next week is about sorting everything out!

The veil sounds lovely :)

AKiss, will that many people want to stay over who can't stay with family/friends?

There is a big festival in Sussex the day of our wedding so all the hotels are booked up already. It's proving very difficult to find places for the guests to stay.

Your veil sounds lovely. I can't remember which one l chose in the end but I have my first dress fitting next month.

Ooh what over akiss ?

My veil arrived today, I'm absolutely over the moon, it's gorgeous. Between fingertip & Knee length with scattered pearls all over and a tiny gold thread running round the edges.

Church service was cancelled today because of the snow, so we didn't get to meet with our organist. Still undecided on songs. I need entrance, signing of teh register and recessional songs, we've decided on hymns.
