Or walk down the aisle or similar to? My friend is getting married in march and is stuck. Mine was pachelbel's cannon. Or anything you would or wish you had arrived to?

Power Love by Franky Goes to Hollywood.

TattyCatty · 07/01/2012 20:35

Arrival of the Queen of Sheeba :) Couldn't tell you what we walked back down the aisle too though - I was too pre-occupied with getting somebody to take my veil off for me (it is not recommended to wear a cathedral length veil when getting married outside on a windy day - your DH will end up wearing it as well as you..........)

cece · 07/01/2012 20:38

IN - Pacelbel Canon in D (I think)

OUT - Perfect Day - Lou Reed

cece · 07/01/2012 20:39

Should add DH really wanted the intro to Bittersweet Symphany by The Verve but I didn't like the lyrics and the intro wasn't long enough to get down the aisle!

doughnutty · 07/01/2012 20:39

The music from Amelie. Loved the film then and still do.

Friends had the music from the end of True Romance. Can't remember who the composer is but it's called something like You're So Cool. It's fab. Very happy, plinky-plunky music.

Sparklingbrook · 07/01/2012 20:40

DB and DSIL had that coming back out from the signing Cece. Smile

charitygirl · 07/01/2012 20:40

A song by Nick Drake chOsen by DH. Sadly no one could hear it over MiL booming out 'dum dum di dum, dum dum di dum' to
the tune of Here Comes The Bride. Yes, really.

shanks313 · 07/01/2012 20:41

Fo0ffyShmo0ffer · 07/01/2012 20:41

I walked down to Trumpet Voluntary.

We walked out to Te Deum.

We had a brass quintet. They played Love Changes Everything while we signed the register Blush

Sparklingbrook · 07/01/2012 20:43

ooh ooh ooh Fo0ffy that was it Trumpet Voluntary-thank-you!! Just got to remember the coming back down the aisle one now.

beanandspud · 07/01/2012 20:43

I was piped in and piped out again. I had chosen some music but the piper wasn't being upstaged by a CD player.

nowwearefour · 07/01/2012 20:53

These are great! Keep them coming! We are playing them on you tube as the suggestions come in! Thank you!

Your welcome. Twas what Princess Di had.

And we all know that ended well.

Tillyscoutsmum · 07/01/2012 20:56

Went in to an instrumental of Hoppipolla

Sparklingbrook · 07/01/2012 20:57

Grin Fo0ffy. 16 years this year and still think it was my best decision ever. (Marrying DH-not having Trumpet Voluntary)

Panzee · 07/01/2012 21:00

I had none.

BackforGood · 07/01/2012 21:00

No idea what she played

Sparklingbrook · 07/01/2012 21:02

SweetLilyTea · 07/01/2012 21:02

In: Canon in D

Out: Arrival of the Queen of Sheba

Not terribly original, but never mind.
