Or walk down the aisle or similar to? My friend is getting married in march and is stuck. Mine was pachelbel's cannon. Or anything you would or wish you had arrived to?

Walked in to 'Bridal dancing queen' from Muriel's wedding, register signed to 'I do, I do, I do' and walked out to Happy together by the turtles, all from the same film soundtrack. I loooove that film!

honisoit · 07/01/2012 21:49

It's a long time ago, but I think it was 'Here comes the bride'.

DrSocks · 07/01/2012 21:53

I had bridal dancing queen too! I loved it, just the right amount of drama plus a bit of a giggle when people realised what it was. We had a bit of a pop music greats theme to our wedding with beatles songs played on the piano whilst everyone was filing in and elvis later on in the evening so it all fitted in nicely.

Dance of the Blessed Spirits by Gluck. It was beautiful

If I now say what I left to, I will completely out myself Grin

CleverClod · 07/01/2012 22:59

When guests were being seated we had "Let's Get Married" by The Proclaimers.

Going in we had "Walk Forever by My Side" by Mike Peters.

Coming out we had "It Must be Love" by Labbi Siffre.

CleverClod · 07/01/2012 23:02

I had no music at all at our registry office wedding...never crossed my mind to do so.
Wedding dance was Iggy Pop The Passenger.

melodyangel · 09/01/2012 14:11

We came in to DS1 playing Bach cello suite No1

and walked out to a piece my DH wrote, when we met 18 years previously.

Somehow I managed not to cry.

LizaTarbucksAuntie · 09/01/2012 15:21

aww in to Cannon in D (My Dad's choice and still makes me well up for sooo many reasons)

Out to Signed Sealed Delivered

Signed the register to Band of Gold by Seth Lakemen and Prettiest Eyes by The Beautiful South.

LizaTarbucksAuntie · 09/01/2012 15:22

Melody your DS!

permatannedpumpkin · 09/01/2012 15:22

In - Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini by Rachmaninoff. I just love the music and it's short.
Register - Better Together by Jack Johnson
Out - How Sweet It Is by Michael Buble.
Xxx

ToffeePenny · 09/01/2012 16:56

The Papageno/Papagena duet from the Magic Flute to come in
Boccherini La Musica Notturna (the one they play at the end of 'Master and Commander' on violin and cello) to go out.

My cousin (music buff) still insists on telling people I walked down the aisle to 'the birdy song'.

dumbelina · 09/01/2012 17:07

Walked in to At my most beautiful by REM (not as arrogant as that sounds if you listen to the lyrics!)
We walked out to Burning Love by Elvis.

Kayzr · 21/01/2012 11:32

This thread is brilliant. I get married in April and I am trying to pick the music.

moonbells · 21/03/2012 11:20

In to Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. I refused to have the Mendelssohn!
Out to Craig Sellar Lang's Tuba Tune Op 18 (1929) which is a really cheery piece!

weegiemum · 22/03/2012 12:47

In to Purcells trumpet tune and air
Out to something from the Water Music, can't remember what Blush

My brother and his dw came back down the aisle to The Proclaimers '500 Miles' - wish I'd thought of that!
