I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

Nothing yet in South Warwickshire. It needs to clear off, hoping to do a return run to Norwich tomorrow.

Sleet coming down now after a few hours of rain - North Gloucestershire. Just had a message from DD saying her two eldest won't go to sleep as they're so excited at the prospect of snow..... I'm not hopeful as it's not settling at all. Middle DD lives towards the Forest of Dean and her drive is covered.

It's snowing in Blackheath (South East London) but it's not landing as the ground / road is too wet.

North wales. About a centimetre of snow but dropping steadily.

Sleet now but my mum's carers were 1.5 hours late due to heavy snow. They say there's plenty of snow on high ground. Outskirts of Bath, where there are lots of hills.

@itsjustbiology me too, plus, I didn’t drive to visit my elderly parents because we’d had a dusting overnight and they’re north/into the hills and I didn’t want to risk it. Fact is I would have been home by 8pm and there still isn’t a flake of snow here.

I feel like the forecasts have got worse for accuracy in the last 18 months, so many false alarms.

1.5" so far here. Started snowing about 2 hours ago. Looking very pretty! ❄

Staffs / West Mids border here. Snowing and it's settling here. Was raining and very wet an hour or two ago so can only assume it's frozen and the snow is laying on top of it.

Going to be treacherous in the morning!
