Completely different weather to the last few weeks today ~ sunshine, 10/11C and windows open. I even heard a lawnmower this morning Shock

GloriaSmud · 05/03/2018 16:38

'Emma and the Beast' ~ I'd like to see Disney make a movie out of that one!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 05/03/2018 17:56

You and OYBBK need starting roles if they do make a movie.

You might be right, about the limit of coping, OYBBK. I saw this the other week. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-42982959 Look at Number 9.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/03/2018 18:10

The SE is extraordinarily dry for the number of people it supports. We need a proper canal system.

What a change from last week. It felt like spring today and I didn't do my coat up!

howyalikedemapples · 06/03/2018 15:06

Met office are saying more possible snow for the north in the coming weeks, do you think this is right OYBBK Just got free today after being snowed in for a week 😖

GloriaSmud · 06/03/2018 16:44

While snow has disappeared for those in the south, there are still some awful conditions for those still cut off.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/03/2018 16:58

howyalike, yes but mostly for eastern Scotland (especially more northern parts) and high ground over the north.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/03/2018 17:05

Someone at work was saying there’ll be more this weekend. Does that apply here in the south west or not?

howyalikedemapples · 06/03/2018 17:20

Thank OYBBK, we are on high ground but in south east Scotland so hopefully miss the worst of any more snow

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/03/2018 18:16

I think you may see some more then I'm afraid, if you are away from the coast.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/03/2018 19:20

Thank you.

Rather wet is fine. That’s just normal weather here. Smile

SnowiestMountain · 07/03/2018 13:05

OYBBK I keep hearing whisperings of a bit of snow in Cheshire tonight, any ideas??

drinkswineoutofamug · 07/03/2018 13:26

Are you near me snowiest? I'm East Cheshire 👋🏻
Yes weather warning for us. Again. Snow. Again

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/03/2018 13:37

Well there are warnings here

sorry, took my eye off the ball a bit! I'm juggling quite a lot this week.

lubeybooby · 07/03/2018 14:08

Gahh... I love snow but my extension build has just begun and frankly it needs to fuck off now. I am only just in the warning area. Can all Mumsnetters please collectively blow westwards and then it can all end up in the Irish sea instead Grin
