Snow watch part 4 - March is supposed to be spring right?

Usual disclaimer - Gloria and I are amateurs, fitting this in round our home and work lives. We do our best, we sometimes get things wrong! Please don't make important decisions based on what we say, always refer to the met office website first.

Still no snow to speak of in Crawley/Gatwick so travel should not be disrupted :)

All pembrokeshire schools are closing today at 1pm and will remain closed tomorrow. I'm looking out of the window and there is no snow anywhere! Bonkers.

North Hampshire, snow seems to have stopped. I'm not in work today or tomorrow and really want more snow!!

Anyone know if it's a possibility?

reminder of the radar, although it's not showing some of the lighter snow.

Anyone in a yellow area could see more snow showers. Even though they may not be part of the main band, as it's such an unstable air feed, snow showers could pop up anywhere.

More snow tomorrow and perhaps on Saturday and Sunday. More details later, just noticed I'm ravenous. I've done a lot of walking today.

Cotswolds checking in. Very little snow but windy and very very cold. School/College originally open but within half an hour of DH dropping kids off (they normally walk but DH took pity) had text to Say school closing mid morning. Then same for College. Kids now both home and clutching hot water bottles! Just waiting to see what happens next. School defo closed tomorrow - don't know about College yet. Forecasts all say snow to some degree but nothing to write home about yet.

DS at university in Southampton has had a university-wide phone message to say they are activating their emergency alert system in case they have to close because of heavy snow! I was a bit surprised at that.

Still nothing here in Surrey. I do feel sorry for those of you who have had too much but just a leeetle bit more here would be lovely!

My poor sis in Bristol needs to drive to Gatwick tomorrow for her much needed and longed for holiday.
Really hoping she’ll be able to get there and her flight will be ok.

We’re ankle deep here in SW London but the wind is something else.
Schools still open, dogs loving it and Amazon has just delivered my new sledges!

Still no snow here (North Cornwall) but I am watching it heading towards us on the netweather radar. Oooer....

Well, it's RUBBISH here in Newhaven.
No snow at all! And work is cancelled tomorrow (although I can't say I relished the thought of standing still outside from 8-2-but still!)
All snow seems to have gone for today-gutting as yesterday we were promised so much.

West Oxon here, and 1-2cm. Roads mostly fine but there are some random patches of ice that are really catching people out.

Most schools in the area seem to be closing at lunchtime.

Hoping for some steady light snow and a snow day tomorrow :)

Snow has stopped (on edge of red warning area) and for a while I thought maybe that is it. Then I looked on that realtime site & it's heading my way.

I've sent it to dh at work and told him to set off early to stay ahead of it!

Oybbk what’s your prediction on west Kent getting much snow tomorrow? It looks like we miss the worst of storm Emma but I’m nervy about more snow falling and reports seem to differ.
