Just parking my non snowed in arse here for updates. I want some snow so that I can do some panic buying of goodies.

GFS at 1pm is looking good for some organised snow, to borrow the term from a forecast ( forget which ). Was under the impression that the snow wasn't getting it's shit together properly till Wednesday for East and Central Scotland.

Mate in Lowestoft reporting thunder and snow!

oh yes, forgot to mention I'd read that it was getting quite convective!

No snow at all in Pembrokeshire at the moment, yellow warning in place for tomorrow but not much in the forecast - it's rare to get much of the white stuff here but who knows!

As a reminder to those of you lucky enough to have some snow - if you are going to be driving anywhere, PLEASE make sure that you clear snow completely from your vehicle before you set off - driving with snow on the roof, windows etc is I believe illegal and a hazard to you and other road users, not just from it falling off as you drive but also if you have to brake sharply - that wodge of snow on the roof will slide forward and possibly obscure your windscreen and or break it if heavy enough.

I am another, extremely reluctantly, giving up on ever seeing any lying snow this winter.
I can't help but feel sooooo bloody disappointed and let down by this latest weather front.

Don't give up folks! BBC weather just now has suddenly really increased the seriousness of the snow coming towards us, both tomorrow and on Friday!

What is this snow stuff of which everyone is speaking? I am off flying tomorrow and according to work nothing is going to stop me trying to do that!

Snow lying in County Durham. We’re buggered again getting fed up now.

Heating on full blast. I am freezing. No snow here yet tonight in Birmingham. We had snow earlier.

Couple of inches here, took the dog for a walk in it, stopped now though

Can't really complain about this winter, have had snow a few times, never anything mega, but better than nowt

Looks like my food stock piling was in vain. Had a little snow yesterday but most of it melted in the sun. In the amber weather warning area but not had a flake. Looking at the rainfall radar on metoffice and don't appear to be in the firing line. Feel a bit disappointed.

Just woke up and had a look out of the window, at least 4 inches have fallen here in South Wales!!!

I'm in west sussex and we literally have nothing. Gutted!

Thundersnow at 10 pm here in the most easterly point. Snowed all day didn't settle till 4 pm. Have at least 4 inches of snow now.

North Essex Nothing yet. Have hair appointment Thursday so dont want snow.

Last hair appointment was high winds and a power cut.
The one before that was the week of Storm Caroline.
