I want thunder snow too! Failing that, a plain old snow day for me and dc on Friday would be ace!

Good morning from the Derbyshire Tundra! - 6 and about 4 inches of snow. Hopes for cancelled trains.

Cumbria here just woke up I’d say about 3-4 inches, wondering how I’m to get to work and if school and nursery are closed 😬

No more snow here in Cheshire but my goodness it's cold, -4 currently and literally everything frozen solid!

Peterborough area and looks like 6 inches of snow here, its incredible. Lots of poor people trapped on the A1 which is closed.

3 to 4 inches here on most easterly point. Would have been more but yesterdays snow had melted just as this lot arrived. Would have been at least 7 inches deep otherwise. -3 but with wind -7.

We have both amber and yellow warnings for snow and for wind.

South West London. Woke up to settled snow. Not very deep but the most we've had settle and DC are beside themselves

Cat ran out of the door, walked a little then came straight back. Don't think she was impressed!

Still nothing in Leicestershire although it is very cold. I'm sulking, I want snow!!

So it appears to be around -6 in Cheshire but some how our snow has melted and instead the lane looks like sheet ice. Brilliant .

We’ve had about 2inches since 3:30am this morning in north lincs and now it’s coming down again.

we’ve had another good 6 inches on top of the 6 inches we had yesterday. Amazed the met office had us in a yellow still.

It’s going to be chaos out there, all the schools are closed. Colchester

This snow is on top of a half filled bin bag which had the snow gear from yesterday in it. I’ll measure properly in a bit!

Small amount of snow here in Surrey/Sussex border. Just enough to coat the ground.

Looks like we had a bit more of a dusting over night (after clearing everything last night).

Temperature has risen a bit thank goodness, up to the heady heights of -5c.

Rubbish amount in easy herts . But -6 and wind whistling through our gappy windows feels Baltic!

Leicester signing in and like Everybodylovesablankie ~ nothing at the moment. Looking at the colour of the sky though, we might get the odd flurry today. A very cold -4.9C

Horrendous here. I was woken up at 4.30 by what I though was a Metro train, they never run that early, it wasn’t a train, it was the wind!!! It’s howling, snow is blowing everywhere, wheelie bins are not where they are supposed to be.

There is no way I am driving to work and all buses have been suspended. I am dreading telling work I can’t get in today.

I can’t believe I wished for this snow.
