Also on York, we have a covering but nothing exceptional. Trains seem to be running OK touch wood.

Coming down thicker and faster now in North West, so much so DS has just told me the penguins are coming 😂

We never get good snow! Hoping at this rate we'll have enough to build a snowman

I am extremely surprised as we hardly ever get any snow... we haven't even had a frost in the last few days. It is one degree now with fine sleet so I expect the snow won't last!

4pm - notice how long some parts have been sat under the snow. It also looks to move inland further.

Forecasts were saying there may be some rain in Bristol on Friday, but now it definitely looks like snow. Is there ANY chance of it changing/not happening?

Atm we have clear blue skies and it's bloody freezing!

Yesterday a cloud cane through and I said it was a snow cloud. Everyone told me not to be silly.
5 minutes later it snowed!

Unfortunately it was small light fluffy flakes so not enough to lay!

I text ds who's school is 5 miles away with instructions on what to do if snow got heavier and started to lay.

When I picked him up he said him and his mates had been laughing at me exaggerating and getting excited about a non event.

He soon stopped laughing when I said when I'd texted him during my lunch break 3.5 hours previously it was snowing - not a lot hence my if post.

They had t had a flake Grin

We have snow in thevPeak District. But that's not unusual. Roads were clear at 5.30 but it's snowing again now just in time for rush hour.

No snow at 4am when I got up for a pee (inland from Eastbourne) but about 1cm at 6.30 & it has just started snowing again.

Bah! humbug! I hate it.
