Surprise snowfall expected.

No idea why the met office haven't got warnings out....

There's a dodgy little low pressure that's spun up - not unusual in these circs that could bring wide spread snowfall later today. Those in the south should be especially aware, though it could affect those in the north and east too. If you are heading out I'd take shovels and blankets just in case.

Polar lows can drop a foot or more of snow in just a fee hours Shock

After a lovely sunny morning yesterday, it is dull and dismal, but freezing outside this morning, but was still hoping for the sky to clear.

Now, horror of horrors, I read about snow in the South today?
If it is an April fool, I am not amused .
Had already decided to be back in my eskimo outfit this morning after opening the door and felt colder than the freezer, but was +1.
