Battle of the cold and the mild

Which will win at the end of next week?
(very brief this morning - running behind a bit)
Cold weekend for all before it warms up again for a couple of days.
GFS then has mild winning.
ECMWF has cold winning (and boy does it look impressive on the charts)
UKMO doesnt quite stretch that far but I think that it is closer to ECMWF and is a bit of a blend solution.

met office warnings have been updated here orange for some of south wales. Yellow area I think is smaller with less of a northern extent I think.

I think we can safely say winter has arrived :)

Hopefullly that means that summer will be later this year - as in August school holidays and not the last few weeks of term

Thought News24 said this morning that they were expecting an amber warning for that area.
I've found that chart and my face was something like at it!
Am going to move over to your 'snow chat' thread ~ think we might need it in the next week or two!
