Ouch. I guess that’s always a possibility with the randomisation. At least you have a few more days to see if you can raid for a better one.
Personally I decided not to bother with the trinket/paid option when I realised after getting the first one there was only a few days in which to use it. Will you pay for it again?

Trying to decide if I want to spend a 5th evening lured up in a car park. Ds’s account caught a shiny chatot yesterday which I might steal but I haven’t caught one yet. We’ve both caught well over 100 each over the past 4 evenings. It is a totally boring way to play and I say that as someone with limited mobility who usually has to drive around to different spots to play on community days etc.

Hoping some people might turn up for raid hour tonight but I doubt it.

i fear I might be totally slightly addicted to trying to catch them all…

@gillybean2I believe the event has ended so you won’t need to spend another evening in a car park. I managed to find a pub that you could reach 5 stops from so that was perfect for yesterday. I managed 2 shiny Chatot from the event, which was a new dex entry for me for the shiny so more than happy with that.

We thankfully have a really large community so will be out for raid hour trying to get the hundo. Hope people do come out for you. 🤞🏻

How are you getting along? Are you on stage 2 yet? I just realised it’s earn a heart 20days in a row not just 20 days. Luckily I tend to do that along with spinning a stop and completing a task as soon as it turns midnight.

I’m on day 10 so half way there with the buddy hearts. I don’t know what the other task was as it auto completed on me. Hopefully you’ll find the same.

I got it! I’m 9 Johto Pokemon away from page 2 so should be on there today or tomorrow.

good to know it’s days in a row - luckily I do buddy hearts daily! But I hate time gated tasks - I’d rather have big ones to complete as slow or fast as I want.

I play with it muted - I don’t want to inflict noise from my game to others around me. I did turn the sound on for about 30 secs to listen to the music event, thought it was nothing special and muted once more lol

I'm still a long way off stage 2. This event is good for the Hoenn spawns but I haven't made much more progress with Johto.

By the way, thank you all for the in game friend requests (I’m assuming they’re all from here as I’ve not put my code elsewhere). It’s lovely seeing all the new postcards! I try to remember to gift daily, but sometimes I run out of time, or if I haven’t been out I run out of gifts.

One tip, in case anyone struggles with the opening limits - search by “interactable&!friendlevel4” as this will bring up friends that you can still increase your friendship level with that day only. If you both do this, in theory you only send and open gifts every other day but still increase level daily!

I then search by “Interactable&!lucky” to open gifts from those friends, prioritising local friends first.

Finally, I send gifts to anyone on that second search term regardless of whether they sent me a gift.
