Sent requests to quite a few people who've put codes on here (thecrazyonesmum).

I have always kept all hundo
but wondering what the point of the 3 hundo ekans and 2 hundo wormadam I have might be. I'm thinking maybe 1 of each is enough but it feels wrong to transfer a hundo!

Ouryve are you on here? We're about to be best friends, but i'd like to try and time for efficient egg use as I don't have many lucky eggs.

I am going through a bit of a difficult time with the DC at the moment so I may not be playing much PoGo for a while. I hope it will pass soon but in the meantime, I am not necessarily going to be raiding or gifting much. I wish you all luck on hundos and shundos 😄.

If you’ve got space to keep the ekans then wait to evolve one on a community day to have the special move on a hundo.
I'm always struggling for storage space and having to make first world problem decisions like this. I think my next cull will be from 6 to 4 of each regions scatterbug 😬

Has anyone else paid for the masterwork research ‘wish granted’? Looking for friends to compare progress with and help keep up spirits along the way.
I’m hoping there aren’t time locks like the last one had. At least the medal requirements didn’t hold me up on that occasion and I even made a few new friends who needed to increase their idol badge level. Wondering what they’re going to throw our way this time to delay progress… 🤔

Personal record for finding a Pokémon stuck in a gym - 319 days. I can’t even put it out of its misery as it is my team. Can anyone top 319 days?

To be fair the gym is 2km from the nearest hamlet and ~1km up an unmade track in rural Galicia in Spain - so probably doesn’t see many Pokémon Go players.

I think my own record is close to 2 months. Same gym as this one. It's just in a suburb of a nearby small town but between 3 mobile providers, getting a good enough data signal to even load the gym is a matter of luck and atmospherics.

Ds used to have an obsession about finding gyms he could stay in for a long time and would actively defend lots of the very rural gyms around us some involving a 2+ hour walk from the nearest vehicle access.

We had one for a long time in Scotland that we spent about 30 mins trying to get enough phone signal to take down. There was another one we found up a mountain in Canada that we managed to hold for the longest. The photos don’t show the longest ever held (you never know when you’re going to get kicked out) but these are a couple of examples of gyms which he managed to keep for a while…

Well this event is a bit of a damp squib after last week.

I finally spotted a raid for the wiggly fishy thing. Right in a mobile blackspot! The only 1 star non-shadow raids I've seen in any of the 8 gyms I can see from my house have been ducklett.

I’ve been trying to find a remote raid for kinglar the last 4 hours having given up on actually finding one in person. I did find one a couple of days ago but my phone crashed after taking it down and by the time I managed to get back in the game it had finished so I couldn’t actually catch it 😖

Finally had one pop up nearby but no time to get there so I remoted in. So I’ve finally completed all the challenges and had already caught all 3 of the tatsugirls thanks to a combination of friends and patience on the GoRaidParty app. Really hard to get into a group as so many others are also trying but preserving paid off. Cost me a few remote passes though. Seems to be getting more and more expensive to play if you want to catch them all 💰💰💰

Can someone explain to me how raids work? How do I join one, where do they happen, and what do I do once I’m in there? Why would I want to raid in the first place?

You can see a gym which is about to get taken over by a raid boss as it has an egg floating over the top. When the raid boss takes over you'll see them and a timer above the gym.

Raids are a good way of getting xp and generally pretty good Pokémon.

If you're by yourself you'll probably want to stick to one star (pink egg) raids to begin with.

@BelfastSmile in the game hit the poke ball to open menus. Then select settings and then help (both top right). In the search box type ‘what are raid battles’ and that should help answer most questions.

@BelfastSmile raids are pretty fun to do as well. Sometimes if you are lucky, you come across one with other people in it (there will be a little person icon with a number next to it saying how many people are in the raid) and you all raid together. Then you can make extra friends which is also great.

Plus your friends can invite you to remote ones which can increase your friendship.

It's really good for getting higher level Pokémon too. And XP and rare candies.

Sorry, I missed your invites, @gillybean2 as I was trying to lose myself in some sewing with DS2 grunting repeatedly in my ear hole! I had just caught one, mind - waited all week and 2 came along at once!

I can't quite reach the pokestop on the corner for lure spawns from my house, unless I have a lucky bit of drift and it's pickling down. I'm taking that as a cue to get dinner made!

I finally got a kingler earlier, before the rain really set in. Took 3 attempts, which I wasn't expecting as the other 3*s for the research were fairly simple.

The concert is at a bad time for children needing feeding and general household chaos, so not sure I'm going to get much out of that!

Same for all the raid hours. Not that anyone else bothers with them here.

It does indeed but I am a big believer in silence other than natural noise in the great outdoors so I never have it on. It's pretty standard Pokémon music 😄.

Wrong! I caught 2 today and saw a couple more on the radar. Inteleon was also spawning near the river, in town. Lots of evolved forms spawning. For some reason, mightyena was appearing on my radar as a shadow.
