Has anyone tried the new explorer gadget yet?

I didn't get it but DS2 did. Tried it on a walk, this morning. It caught all the pokestops we passed (8) but only 5 pokemon. Still useful, though, as the battery in the phone his account is on is on its last legs.

@WarmSausageTea thank you for the offer! But the only ones I’m missing are the 3 random ones. My DD loves evolving Eevee and seeing which one it will evolve into. She’ll have extra fun with it being a shiny.

Is the gadget only available in certain regions?

I tried it yesterday while driving but I didn't realise it only uses the red balls so they ran out pretty quickly

I don’t seem to have it yet. Guess I should stop binning my balls to make item space though LOL.

My gadget has also disappeared and I didn't get it on my other account at all. So expect a test?

A not entirely successful one. It kiboshed my go plus plus, so I paused the new gadget to reconnect the plus plus, which caused the game to keep flashing up what the new thing had caught, and only stopped when I swiped the game away. Got the plus plus reconnected, which caused the new gadget to call a halt for the day at 34/77 daily catches. It’s not come back.

That sounds nice… I do have spares of the random shiny evolutions, happy to hold them in case you want them at some point.

What is your po go name? Or what does it begin with? Am I one of them? My Mumsnet is the same as the game. I went forever friends with a few friends today. But lose track with who is on this thread.

Anyone else wish you could change XL candy into 100 regular candy? Cos evolving this snom is a pain. I don't even have 300 yet.

Wait until next week when shiny snom debuts. Frustration squared. I've evolved on but LL is about as far as you. I'm on my 2nd snom buddy so walking without feeding berries for a while, in between all the other things I need to buddy.
