Here's shiny new thread! Anyone got a golden razz?

Anyone else close to their first remote trade? I’m 5 away with a friend from Hawaii and we’re currently doing the weekly challenge so expect we’ll be remote trading in the next couple of days. Woohoo

So I’ve tagged quite a few Pokemon that I’d be happy to trade with the new remote tag, Mostly shinies, legendaries and regionals. When I checked it’s almost 300 pokemon I’ve tagged with only a few duplicate regionals. Is that too many?

Would you rather see lots of choice or is a more limited selection more manageable?

I got there with DS2, today 😂

I'm aiming for 50-100. I don't have the bag space for any more.

Oh I’m a little disappointed. I appreciate most players are likely tripping over themselves for these but I already have all of them. The only lucky I’m missing is the comfey so I guess that what I pick. I hope they add a few more options

I wish I were closer cos I really like those oricorios but I still have a ways to go.

Has anyone tried the upgraded monthly pass? Is it worth it?

I'd take the oricorio and the comfey! The flabebe was available completely free, last year.

Do you get extra xp when you get to forever friends?

Mine will probably look very boring as I've tagged stonjourners, mr mimes and spare shinies. I'm hoping once I get ff from abroad my boring will be their exciting and vice versa!

I did take a comfey as it was a lucky trade and I already had lucky dex of the other two.

They spent ages choosing from my 250+ selection and finally requested a shiny smeagle.
They probably thought I’d be thrilled for their regionals, and I’m sure most uk players would love a comfey or the oricorio, but I already had them all from trading at events. I’d have been happier with slightly more choice and I would like some totally random stuff for my lucky dex. I was actually hoping for a shiny of the regional oricorio to be fair and I had a shiny one to trade for it. Oh well.

Definitely try and add some different choices when tagging if you can, not just your local regionals.
I won’t be rushing to go forever friends with this friend again that’s for sure.

The bug where you can't see how far off levelling up friends is, well, bugging me, so apologies if I don't open your gifts, especially if you're near the end of the alphabet like @wurz when I don't want one of those oh bugger moments when I need to get off my bum and wash the dishes 😂

It is a really annoying glitch as I don't want to level up anyone accidentally either

From my point of view I don't need more XP so level up when you like just don't drop your phone in the washing up bowl 😆

It's L that's on the verge of levelling up, @wurz but I can't tell whether he's 1 day off or 4 as they look the same! I'll probably open the gift before I do anything else on Sunday, which is his streak day, then I can either make the most of a lucky egg or just note down when level up day would be, as you can see it after you've opened a gift but not while you have one.

It's been fixed by the latest update, at least.

I've been experimenting with tagging pokemon in LL's account, as we're now forever friends.

A few observations for those who aren't there with anyone, yet:

Trading costs the same as in person for Stardust.

Once you're forever friends, the heart counter resets.

You can still see a FF's tagged pokemon after you've traded with them.

I tagged some of the rarer scatterbugs. There is no way for your FF to see what region they're from but they do have a marker if they're not registered in your pokedex, so I can see that on the Tundra scatterbugs that LL has tagged as I never managed to make a Tundra friend that bothers to send gifts 😂

Oh I’ve got loads of tundra ones so I’ll hang onto them LOL. It’s Icy Snow and Ocean I struggled with. I have 3 of each of them now at least.

I definitely need to go through the Pokemon I have to see which ones I should tag and keep when I get to that trading level. There are some I would probably chuck that others would want so I’ll have to double check them all.

I've turned a couple of Furfrou into diamond trim to see if there are any takers.

LL has the legacy level 45 special research and is at the stage with the 8 great throws in a row task. I figured all today's vulpixes would be a good opportunity to finally get it out of the way. I made it all the way to 7 then just missed one 😭

Oh goodness, I remember that task. Think I ended up completing it with the help of a wailmer event. See if you can perhaps stack some easier catches when you complete tasks and stack to catch the Pokemon later.

I’m working on excellent throws for ponytails master research. Not easy when my spawns are still pretty rubbish. Oh and complete 100 max battles to level up. I’m refusing to spend coins on particles for that. Feels like pogo is grinding to a halt a bit for me. Always gets like this when I’m lacking in storage space. I get fed up with only having 20 odd spaces and constantly have to dump stuff before I can catch. Makes the go plus+ pretty redundant so I just switch everything off.

Ds did manage to power through hatch 75 eggs with the half distance at the weekend. We are both pretty close to our platinum routes badge thanks to a new route nearby which I can drive back and forth whenever I go out in the car. Roll on more storage space…

Nice. I am sorry I haven't been PoGoing much lately. Some family difficulties have really messed with my routine. I hope it will get better soon.

We've had snow, instead, today. And a whole minute of sunshine, bringing our total for this month to 1 minute 3 seconds 😂

Talking of furfrou, don’t forget to get that heart trim whilst it’s about. Shiny trim might be useful for trading for regional trims. I’m hoping so at any rate.

Anyone thought about which regional trim they’re going to pick if you’re doing the Kalos global ticket timed research? I’m thinking the pharaoh/egypt one seems to be the hardest to get. Unless you’re actually going to Egypt of course…
