Happy New Year to all my pogo friends from MN!

I’ve currently got the bug where I’m not getting daily or weekly tasks. Ds was still getting them until yesterday so it seems to be catching 😫

So far one of my friends in Hawaii has been quick in joining me with the weekly challenge and we are currently 47 to go to be able to remote trade. So I reckon another 3 weeks until we can do that if we manage to team up again each week.
I’ve also acquired 2 new Hawaiian friends from our social grouping. Im currently trying to build up a few stonjourners as I’m sure they’ll be a popular trade.

I’m still not really clear on how the negotiation for remote trading is going to work or how much stardust it will cost. Let’s hope it’s not too buggy when we can finally attempt to trade🤞

I know I’m getting ahead of myself a bit, but bearing in mind you have to have had the mon in your dex for a while to remote trade it…

I have several Tauros, carnivine, klefki, Sigilyph, tropius and pachirisu (amongst others) that I’m happy to trade. I also have spare scatterbugs from every region.

I need some random lucky trades for my dex so if you’d like one of the above, and our trade will be lucky, I’m looking (currently; the list may reduce if I get a lucky in the meantime) for:
sparrow, venomoth, tentacool, onix, krabby, sudowoodo, pineco, gligar, teddiursa, kingdra, seedot, taillow, nincada, azurill, illumise, spinda, trapinch. So please hang on to any of these and hopefully we can lucky trade together.
I also have most spinda variants if you have any holes to plug.
There are also a few legendaries I’m after lucky trades of but happy to mirror trade for those.

I've marked all my trades and spare shinies in preparation. If I've understood correctly we can see anything with the top tag in our tags list once we hit the bffs level.
No idea how it'll work with people I can't contact though but will be fun!

ds didn’t have you as a friend so have added you. There may be a few friends that aren’t friends with both of us as I was struggling for spaces for a while. So if anyone is friends with Vea… or Geo…but not the other keg me know as between us we have a few min it sounds like trainers would like to trade. And yes between us we gave 10 sleepy hat snorlax so can certainly look to trade you one

@gillybean2 I think we are lucky friends, I would love a carnivine or pacharisu and can do most from your wanted lucky list (I think - unless you are after shiny as well as lucky?). They seem a bit low value compared to the ones that are really tricky to track down, but a fair bit of the remote trading is probably going to be about filling gaps however it can be done, even if the matches seem uneven.

They've done a spawn update and I now have no reliable ones left at home. Do they want us to play this game every day or what?

I tell a lie. I have one new one as well as the two I can stretch to. Reachable at opposite sides of the house at opposite halves of the hour. Still doesn't encourage me to buy tickets and passes.

I appreciate if seems an unfair swap. But I have several of the regionals listed above which I’ve been hanging on to for years so I am happy to finally be able to share them.
My wanted list above is not for shinies, I am trying to complete my lucky dex and so to me the trade is fair because it’s what I need to meet my aim and would make me very happy.

I do have other mon that I wouldn’t trade this way. I have only one spare relacanth for example and Ds has a few unown q left which are very sought after and rare. And for which i would want a much higher value trade for.

The pokemon i really want is unown z and if anyone has one of those id be thrilled to trade for it. Ignoring shinies, It’s the last unown I need for the badge and to complete my unown dex. I know it’s unlikely anyone here will have it though.

Me too! Was bad yesterday and today even worse with practically none. Used to reliably 8+ at one go. If they don't roll back then I fear will be the end of my daily playing.

The spawn thing. I went out to play for 45 minutes today. Rest of the time I play I am at home. I can’t give more time to playing it out of the house.
It’s going to make the game difficult/boring if they don’t sort it out: most play is done at home.

Well quite. Most of my play is on a bus, 2-3 times a week or at home, over a cuppa. I did go for a short walk, this afternoon, once the ice cleared, but it was so cold, everything stayed firmly in my pockets. Far too painful.

I would very much like a snorlax in a hat if someone has one spare. I have a number of eevees, pikachus and other pokemon wearing hats if that helps.

Is anyone going to the Natural History museum event? I booked it not knowing really what it was and have heard it's just a shop. It'll still be fun anyway but did wonder if there's more to it like extra pokestops or events?

I booked it but I'm not sure we will go, I think it's just a shop and it's already going to cost £80 in travel so will probably skip it unless there's extras around it.

Which snorlax in a hat there are a couple arnt there? My son gave me one in a bowler hat I've currently borrowed his go plus to get a snorlax in a bed hat (can you tell i like snorlax 😂) currently being annoyed by pikachu before bed

@Theunamedcat you can switch off the pikachu on the go plus+ It’s marginally less annoying when you do. Good luck getting your 5 sleepy hat snorlax.

My home wild spawns are back! Maybe not quite the same density as before but just as I was giving up on the game. Still not well desposed to it. Consider yourself on notice Pokémon Go.

Mine is better also, but not all the time. Frustrating as I like playing at home as well as out and about, I imagine the same for everyone

Mind have improved, too. Still about half what they were a year ago but nowhere near as dire.

Ouch.

Lack of spawns is still an issue for me. I have so many stops around work that my bag is exploding but there’s nothing to catch. I’m throwing away 200 balls in an hour and catching pretty much nothing. You’d think there’d be some spawns within a cluster of 6-9 stops (there used to be). And this is right in the middle of town 🤷‍♀️
