Here's shiny new thread! Anyone got a golden razz?

Some of the pokemon I have in gyms are going to be very well fed! I always have too many berries but ended up with almost 800 pinaps!

I hatched a poplio before I even knew I had the egg, as the update happened while I was walking home. I was going to spin a couple of stops and suddenly needed to get rid of 2000 items, so that didn't work! I'd have burned through a few more lucky eggs last week if I'd known I'd have so many now...

I have too many items to claim my showcase reward, can't figure out how to feed berries to my mons in gyms, so no useful way to get rid of the hundreds of berries. It doesn't sit right deleting when they're worth stardust, so will deal with it all tomorrow!

Just go through the gym section on your medals page.

I think you can also search your pokemon but I can't remember whether the search string is defender or defending.

If you're quick, you can get into your research before the showcase dot pops up when you open the game.

Yes, I appreciate the items but I am going to have to run them down before I can even spin any more pokestops so I may not be able to send gifts for a bit until I run down supplies to a more reasonable amount.

I now have 2500/1300 items 😅

I was at 4300/3800. Had to bin over 500 items. I kept the ones I’ll use the most at least. I wish you could get some sort of bonus for binning items. Even if it was a tiny coin amount like 1 coin per 100 items or something.

Hopefully we'll have some more biddable spawns when the harvest festival event finishes. Lots of sticky out bits on this lot.

Went up to level 70 yesterday. Had to bin so much stuff. Am excited about all the incubators I just found in my bag though!

You’ll need a few of those for level 75; hatch 75 eggs… 😯

But surely the daily 1k egg will count towards that? Which should make it slightly quicker and easier...

Think I got 23 incubators in total, so nearly enough for 75 eggs!

Add that to your free (orange) incubator and you're golden.

Of course, there will be a hatch based event before you get there!

One of my friends went to level 71 yesterday- that must have taken some effort!

I know you didn’t mean me…. but yes it did 😜 Actually I only hit 71 this morning. I would probably have managed it yesterday if I hadn’t had to spend 3+ hours at the hospital in a spot with very few spawns plus the 2 hours driving there and back.

How is everyone else doing? Are you going all out to level up or just letting it happen when it happens?

I am just letting it happen though I did actually try to do the 100 catch in one day. Managed to do it on the way there and back from dropping DD at college. It's why I prefer the bus!

It's the powering up legendaries that's going to be hard.

@ISaySteadyOn i just powered up a couple of mythicals. I had a few candies for my meloeta and volcanio, which are both only 2 star and only cost 1 or 2 candy to power up. I hadn’t bothered powering them up since I got them so had enough candy to manage the task. Have a look at your mythicals first as you may find the same.

I’m at a 160 nice throws. I’m really trying too! I have to drop DD off later and wait but even with intense it’s not a great area for PM. Wish it was longer and I could go to the park.

I'd hoped for a couple of hours on a bus to concentrate on the nice throws, this morning but have had to stay closer to home. I've cracked the hundred throws in a day by walking down into town but not wanting to fall flat on my face they've not been the most careful ones. I just concentrated on filling up L's gift storage because the elderly but comfortably small phone I use for that account has a duff battery. He's a solid level 70, though, so no hurry.

Meltan/melmetal count for that.

I got the powering up one with a low CP Diancie as I had tons of candies for it so that was simple.

Just finished the catch 100 in one day, went to Spoons which has 5 stops around it, could only reach 4 where I was sitting but lured them all and basically smashed the task while enjoying a spice bag and bottle of beer. 🤣

Just need to get lots of nice throws now.

I dumped all my rare candy on my legendaries to help clear my item bag before realising there was a power up task. For pretty much the first time ever I did the right thing at the right time and that one is all done.

I'm not in a rush to level up, have enough xp for 71 but then I'll need a fair bit more for the next levels, so can't really see the point in rushing through the tasks just to wait for xp later. I like having tasks to do, wish they'd kept the 40-50 ones as well as adding new!

I'm interested to see how quickly the people who've already got the xp for 80 will level up, when it's just tasks.

I'm in no hurry either @VeryNearlyLegendary ; I'm grateful for a bit of a rest after the levelling up rush tbh.

I have plenty of XP but a lot of the later tasks are timelocked anyway for players who don't have money to spend - I was happy to get some incubators too, but I notice they weren't quite as giving with the remote raid passes.

I'm about halfway through the throws, but I've been in the cinema most of this week. It doesn't help that while I'm pretty accurate with the throws most of the time, when it actually counts I suddenly can't hit a barn door 🤣
