Despite the fact I was never going to make level 50 or complete the xp challenge I did feel the time pressure. Definitely enjoying playing in a more relaxed way and I intend to try and keep.the relaxed enjoyment of the game (watch that go out the window with the next event 😆).

Speaking of which is anyone doing rayquaza raids tomorrow? I have some remote raid passes and no rayquaza so hoping to join a few.

I'm hoping to join some rayray quests remotely, too. I'm 3 off the mega platinum and missing that one.

I was completely sad and made it to level 71 by 01:30 Thursday morning. I’ll be out doing Rayquaza raids tomorrow, so feel free to jump in via the friends list. It’s also been a while since I posted my code 592155874264, I’m not the best gifter but can always be tempted with a raid.

Request sent - I think you need a certain level friendship to see if people are at a raid though?

@VeryNearlyLegendary I've got enough XP for level 80 but I won’t be throwing money at it to level up quicker. Just going to work through one at a time.

I’m actually hoping to be back at work in the next two to three weeks so won’t have so much ‘free’ time to play which will seriously reduce my playing time but that’s probably not such a bad thing in reality. Still hoping to level up at a reasonable rate subject to the time locks and not shelling out too much 💰💰💰. I’m already hoarding shadows to purify and looking for weedles to max power up 🤣

I’ll probably do some rayquaza raids tomorrow even though I already have way too many so if you want an invite just be sure to show yourself as online as I always check for that first when sending out invites.

@VeryNearlyLegendaryI didn’t realise there was a friendship level for that part. Will make sure I send you some invites. I’ll be out for the full event as I need the hundo for my mega dex. Which is my current obsession in the game.

@gillybean2 it's a dampener on your game play but I'm taking it that going back to work is good news in terms of the hospital visit stuff.

I’ve looked through the different levels and there’s one where you have to do 10? Trades of Pokémon caught 300 miles away. I can see me getting stuck on that forever. I only trade with a burner phone we have in the house.
Im going to start hoarding shadow Pokémon for one of the later levels just now.

Maybe some day we should do a Mumsnet Pokefest where we all go somewhere pretty and trade like mad so we can all get through the trade tasks.

That would do for me @ISaySteadyOn . I've got no chance of getting through another 50 lucky trades which I think is another one - I have dozens of lucky friends but I've never met any of them 😂

I got the last lot eventually by signing into my nephews old account and ploughing away (ditto the distance ones). I doubt that's going to work again.

Do Pokemon received in 7km eggs count for that one?

@SockQueenThey do indeed. Pretty sure the catch location for them is where the egg was received from.

If he's got any 2018 pokemon or earlier, that's a few guaranteed luckies.

Yes. It's exactly what I use them for. That and a bit of extra candy.

Same for remote raids.

Phew! I was annoyed as it seemed to be encouraging people to fly.
cold here. Not sure I will get out much, do need to get those nice throws though. A week of routes annoys me though, I hate doing them.

Try and garner a few friends from Oz and start hatching the 7k eggs and holding on to the pokemon hatched to trade for distance.
i already got my platinum badge that way but ds is about 60,000 km short on his so that task will help.

Thanks for the raid piggybacks, @gillybean2 - I don't think we had the ability to jump on raids from our friend list, last time Ray was available.

I missed the raid invites as the family insisted on needing things, should be free now if there are any more going?

Have the blue eggs been ok for others? I only got the first one and that’s been it. It tells me I’ll get another when I log in each day but I don’t get them.

I've been getting them fine so long as I haven't hatched one that day.

I’ve had two hatch with no issue. Ds had one which he didn’t hatch the same day (as it was far too late by the time he got the new level to update) but it hatched today. I assume he’ll get another tomorrow.

I did see some reports that the new egg was blocking an egg space. So if you’ve got a blue egg you can’t pick up a ninth general egg or a third red egg if all your nine egg spaces are filled. Perhaps you can’t pick up a blue egg if all your 9 + 3 spaces are filled already. Is that a possibility in your situation?
