Am I mistaken or is it not actually possible to have 50 platinum medals? A few of the ones I’m missing (6) are to register pokemon for certain regions. Those Pokemon haven’t been released fully so you can’t actually get the platinum badge…

Personally it looks like I have enough xp for level 80 so it’s just the tasks to work on by the looks of it. I’ve been chipping away at routes and battles for a while so I guess I’ll have to try and up the number of those I do.

I really do need to find someone who has unown z to trade with. Been missing that one for my platinum medal for far too long. Don’t suppose anyone has one going spare do they…?

I counted 51 medals but they're definitely not all completable at the moment. And some are just plain tedious but will get filled in time or by tasks in other levels.

Im currently on 19 platinum and very close with 3 more. I seem to have the XP for level 73 at the moment so no hurry.

Apparently the type medals count as platinum So I have 53 including those I think. So I just need to work on tasks for each level and I’ll get there at some point.

Did anyone manage to complete the xp celebration? I think I play a lot (too much) and I'm finishing on 34/50... maybe if I'd quit my job and stopped looking after the kids! 🤣

@VeryNearlyLegendary Congratulation. I completed xp level 33 and was on the level 34 task which needed me to send another 99 gifts and do 14 max battles. With the best will in the world the restrictions on being able to do those (relying on friends to open gifts and collecting particles with very few power spots near me) left me 🤷‍♀️

I got totally a bit bored of it all to be fair and stopped actively trying the last couple of weeks. But then I didn’t have a target or level I needed to reach and am back to having daily hospital appointments.

It also resulted in me playing in ways I don’t particularly like or prefer; like hanging off on sending gift until it was a task and prioritising/reciprocating opening gifts from people who were more likely to open mine daily rather than ensuring I open a gift from all friends at least once a week.

At least the tasks for level 79-80 don’t appear too onerous. I’ve only ever achieved 7 day streak on routes once though so I guess that one will take some effort as I’ll have to go out of my way to drive complete those.

I need to get a wiggle on and get to the routes task before the weather turns.

Also, how many best buddies for platinum? 😱

Apparently the switch is happening at 1pm pdt. That's 9pm for us.

I've started grinding away at the buddy task for the last few months. I'm still miles away but there is progress! At least it's one that I can complete without having to battle loads or which relies on me travelling somewhere to get regional Pokes. Reckon I'll come in much lower down the new levels though (currently 46) so will have a lot more tasks to do.

9pm? I came on to complain it hadn’t happened. I managed half way to 48 yesterday, I had to give up on the XP task as it was too late and needed 3 routes etc.

Yeah, 21:00 tonight for us unfortunately.

So did I! 🤣 I was all excited.

I misunderstood when the tasks finished and thought I had a few more hours, so I lost 100K or so of XP when I didn't claim the last lot before midnight and it disappeared. Muppet 😖

So apparently you have to go manually update from the App Store.

I’m level 70 after a few restarts. Ds still level 50. It’s all a bit meh 🤷‍♀️

Yeah it gave too many max potions and great balls. I just dumped pretty much all of them.

Im 70 and have so much stuff. I want to know what’s in the blue egg?
I have a friend who wizzes up the levels so keeping an eye on how long it takes him to get to level 71, I’m guessing a day.

I guess the extra XP is the more interesting option on hatching it then.
