Same here. Also just added your sons. I do my best with gifts but the remote raid pass price increase means my remote raids are v reduced. Which is sad cos I love raids.

No routes here in the back end of nowhere but there are some in the nearby university city. I read that it is a slow roll out so there are not many people who can make them yet. The special research isn't time limited so I'll just have to wait (and wait). By then they might be less buggy to make and to walk.

We are back to having an actual eyes on gym raid group from this week. Our local raid group died with remote raiding and this will be the first time since 2020 that a local group has planned to meet. Hopefully this will be the beginning of regular raiding, I have missed it and the people I met through it.

Turkish coin trick is my solution to this. I bought an android phone that I purely use for this. 8p per 100 coins at the moment.

I had something pop up about making a route but I didn't know what it was so I just closed it. Tbh I'm not really into a lot of the added new stuff. I just like catching Pokémon. I don't even battle that often and raid very rarely now because of the cost of the passes.

No routes near me either. Frustrating to say the least although they have now clarified on twitter that everyone can walk a route but not everyone can create them yet. With my limited mobility and rural location it’s not something I am going to manage especially given the reports of how buggy they are. Even those that can create them say they’re waiting weeks for them to then be rejected with no feedback as to why. Sounds a bit like why I gave up submitting stops.

On the plus+ side my new go plus+ is proving better than my old go plus pokeball which was on its last legs. Why the thing is so loud and flash though is beyond me. Seen people posting they’ve taken the thing apart to disconnect the vibration as you can’t switch if off without switching everything off. Not sure I’m brave enough to do that given how much the thing cost and it no doubt would invalidate the warranty.

Anyone else got one yet? I find the sleep tracker is seriously out. Apparently I slept 1 hr 53 mins yesterday…?! At least it’s logging it for the snorlax task. Really would like to know what they’re anct monitoring to decide if you are asleep.
once I’ve completed the snorlax research I’ll go back to leaving my phone downstairs (and away from my brain) at night. Can’t be good to sleep with a mobile phone left on right next to you…

I spoke too soon. There are no routes "nearby" to me but there are three starting within fifteen minutes walk. I've been out in the mud with an umbrella this afternoon on two of them. On one of them I had to backtrack a couple of times as the gps had a wobble and it said I was off the track but they weren't as buggy as I'd expected. Both completed and I got the green wotsit for the research.

There are no routes that I've been able to see near me in Zone 2. I ventured up to the South Bank for lunch - which is IME the most PoGo-friendly place in London - and found 2 routes (one from Waterloo Bridge to the station and a longish one all along the South Bank), but the family wouldn't let me abandon them to walk either.

Back in Battersea for the afternoon I found one route around the Power Station, but there isn't one yet in Battersea Park, which seems mad.

I guess we just have to be a bit patient. I've submitted two and will see whether they get approved and how long it takes.

None near me in Zone 2 too but I will try elsewhere if I can persuade the DC to come with me. DS got me into it and now he's totally uninterested to the point where he asked me why I was so obsessed 😂

I've checked and there's one route showing for me but it's too far away for me to even start it, never mind follow the 1km route, then back again before having to try and walk home. I can't walk for long without needing to sit down now and I know that route doesn't have anywhere to sit so it won't work for me at all. Hopefully others will appear around my town which I can get to easily.

I have no routes near me at home and one near where I work in central london. But it is 1.3km long and won't load on my phone so I can't even see where it starts.

I've made two routes, one which has been approved and the other one which I suspect won't ever be as I read somewhere the ones done over last weekend are mostly stuck.

I walked the first one today, but no sign of a Zygarde cell (if I even knew what to look for). I plan to do the bankside one mentioned by @KevinAndHerKits in the week, so maybe more luck then .

Zygarde cells are little green sparkles. I found one when I went back to do the very short Waterloo bridge to station route.
