Ooh look! A shiny new thread! Hello everybody.

Sierra is a right bitch to battle!
I've decided I actually want Arlo now as a shiny pineco world be fab.
You can beat Sierra's lapras with a rock slide melmetal but I appreciate it's a bit of a rare Pokémon. Fighting Pokémon will keel over and die very quickly.
Maybe I should try an aggron....

I'm done with the battles, I've 79 odd pokemon waiting to be revived and no revives left. I'm morning all the revives I've deleted....

You can power up a Pokémon that needs reviving and then it'll just need a potion. So any you need urgently, just power them up once.
Don't forget that you can buy them in the shop too.

Gio has wiped out all my Pokemon. I have no revives left and I can’t power them up because I have no stardust and no candies on my high rollers anyway!

I have been having to do 1 tier raids instead! On the plus point those 1 tiers are new Pokemon to me.

@bellabelly I’ve never done co ordinegging, you’ll have to talk me through it! (If I’m even close to it anyway!)

@OntheWaves40 - remind me of your trainer name? I've only done the co ordinegg thing once but basically you arrange in advance to open the gift that will trigger going to the next friendship level at a particular time. If you both have a lucky egg on, you'll get twice the XP.

My problem with the co ordinegg thing is that I added lots of friends from random Facebook and Reddit threads as well as on here and now I can't remember who is from where. I like Mship's idea of a spreadsheet, I just have scraps of paper.

Last call for Emziieex3 and Poketwoboys, I think they're not MNers...

I try to remember to use the option 'set nickname' on friends to enter MN names - helps when coordinegging

Thanks @Highbrows. I didn't have a gift to open from Poketwoboys so not too late to coordinegg. Looking through my Pokédex and came across this. Anyone know how to get one? I don't remember seeing it ever but I must have done for it to show up in the Pokédex?

Olinguito - that's a great idea, wish I had thought of that when I started. I'll start doing that then - can you still see the pogo name too?

Bellabelly yes, you see both names. The nickname is limited to a certain number of characters, but is enough to identify which MNetter is which!

@bellabelly That Jynx Pokemon has been appearing near my house in the last week... not much use to you though! I hadn’t see it before then. I said to my DS that’s the silliest looking Pokemon I’ve ever seen. Even sillier than Alolan Dugtrio!

Ulruson and Noobtree, just noticed that you'll go ultra friends with flaubertiste when you open your gift. Just if you want to use an egg. I won't open your gifts and accidentally trigger...

@bellabelly Jynx is relatively uncommon, but can be found in the wild and in tier 3 raids.

Yay, I beat Sierra. I started with Swampert to burn off her shields then quickly switched to Raikou to see off Lapras. Scizor for Exeggutor and back to Swampert for Houndour.

Still can't beat her with double Lapras though.

Is Cliff AWOL? Every leader battle I've done since this event started has been either Sierra or Arlo, haven't seen him in ages.

Anyone struggling with Arlo, Blaziken with double fire type moves nails him.
