How many people do you need to win a 4* raid?

For a 4*, two high level accounts, three or four lower. Did two giratinas today and got both on my first ball. Then felt bad a fellow player got neither. We had such a farce getting in, think we went into lobby 4 times on the first one!

Hi @juni! Yes I live central! I dont normally raid in a group so I like these new remote raid passes. Although I can see 13 gyms from my house I never know if there's a group raiding at any of them. The new info about coins looks interesting, although I'm not so happy about only 2 coins being awarded per hour in a gym.

I failed getting the Giratina tonight even after four of us (I manage to bribe the kids to play!) Battled. I think we just have weak Pokémon! And you should be ok with four. Last week everyone but me managed to get a Darkrai

Actually, having read it all properly, it's not such great news about the new coin regime. 5 measly coins a day is nothing. And much less chance of getting a decent number from a gym as well.

I was thinking the same as you about the coins. I was thinking I had better put all mine to work and stock up coins quick before it's introduced worldwide!
BTW do you sometimes find the whole catching them, making them work for you a bit alarming...I didn't until my youngest told me he thinks the professor grinds up the Pokémon you trade to him then squishes them down to make candy. That's why they need the candy to evolve!!! It really upset me, and now I can't get the idea out if my head! Also what have I raised? He is only twelve!

Yeah, the coins thing is a bit of swizz really. But may mean some days you get some rather then none. I'm a real softie about gyms and never take them over if people haven't been in long. And I often don't have time to loiter trying to bosh a blissey.

@feesh I've added. I have a couple of friends on my list who I think are mumsnetter kids and I try to prioritise them with gifts although I'm getting more gifts than usual at the moment anyway.

Bit late but hubby and i managed to beat the 4* raid he is level 36 and im level 35. Wasnt too hard though i didnt have the pokemon id usually use as i was rushing.

I have a deadline of 15/5 so I am a bit short of gifts until then as I am working hard. But after that I will add all the new numbers as usually I am awash with gifts.
Juni thank you I will watch Indigo League...I was quite alarmed. Like you I am very soft, at first I was only collecting them, and I am still not keen on battling but I do like hatching eggs so I need to battle to get into gyms as other wise I would spend a fortune...I am 46 and never spent a penny on video games until Feb this year. First spend 79p second spend Pokémon Safari tickets...my friends thought I had lots the plot and was developing a serious addiction. I was so sad the Safari was cancelled.

Sorry @tinygringotts I cant trigger our friends. I levelled up during my lucky egg and now what with opening other gifts I have nearly 100 items extra! I cant buy more storage as I only have 7 poke coins. Sorry we will have to coordinegg another time, likewise to others I missed. (Ginliker)

Has anyone experienced lots more pokestops and pokestops becoming gyms near you? Today the postbox at the top of our street became a Pokestop and two more local pokestops became gyms. I am now so excited as I can spin a Pokestop from house. It's like xmas has come early! I have set a lure
