Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

I got a zubat last night on incense for flying type.
I'm still getting kanto spawns though, thought we'd get johto ones.
I also caught a 98% machoke last night. I'm enjoying my luck lately through a shiny might be nice. My raiding group get so many!

If you check what's weather boosted and put incense on you should get something.

The event doesn't actually start until 13:00 local time. The spawns will change then making it easier.

And if anyone hadn't sent a gift yet don't! Wait until after 13:00 because then you'll have the chance for a shiny. If you trigger the research before 13:00 you can't get a shiny as they've not been released yet.

Haven't been out for ages due to the fact I broke my shoulder 6 weeks ago and in order to be seen at fracture clinic had to shield for a while. But I'm back now

@Holdingforgeneralhugs which raid boss did you beat, can you remember? I had hoped to beat a 4* raid with bestie, (L 34) a couple of alts (25 and 33) and myself (37) , but didn't think it was possible.

I triggered the research by accident by sending a gift. Didn’t even realise that the research had popped into my list. That’s really not fair!

I was in the game at bang on 1pm and all the "nearby" changed to pikachu shadows. Dammit!

@NoMoreDickheads i checked with hubby, we are pretty sure it was a Nidoqueen (the days have merged into one struggling to remember anything!)

Am up to ghost-type for Johoto. Triggered it by catching a flying type last night and seeing the little bar shoot across. Didn't even know the new research was there!
Very happy after catching a shiny Giratina yesterday as I failed to get one first time around.
