Yep Johto next, I enjoyed that, I do like a task (nice to ‘achieve’ anything at the mo’) and I got my first ever shiny Pikachu

I'm stuck on the earn candy with your buddy on the 5th set of tasks as not really going out, but tomorrow is shopping day so hopefully I will go far enough to earn the candy!
Took part in first ever 5* raid as the local Facebook group has restarted! We got a darkrai and used up all my golden raspberries to catch it! I need to earn more candy so I can buy more remote raid passes!!!

@jillandhersprite if you have your buddy out on the map with you it finds candies a lot quicker. I was stuck on the same task until someone gave me that tip. 😀

@jillandhersprite when I get an earn candy challenge I switch buddy to magicarp or gyrados because it takes 1km to earn a candy. I get one then switch back again.

Question about PvP battles. I've been having fun doing the battles. I'm now at Level 6 and NEVER win anymore. How on earth do they always get their charge attack in before me. Sometimes 2 in the time I can charge mine. I'm stabbing away at the screen pretty quick. Any tips?

Can anyone tell me how you take a snapshot of a Pokemon that counts towards a task? I've taken pictures but they aren't counting towards the task at all frustratingly!

My partners phone does the same thing, he has to take the snapshot and send it to himself either via email or messenger. Of course if he gets an amazing Pokémon, he sends the snapshot straight to me!

Try switching it to your buddy then taking the photo and switching it back again. Mine works now but I tried that a while back when it wasn't working for me

Try drumming with three or four fingers on the screen to charge up quicker. I lay my telephone flat on the table and drum with my left hand whilst tapping with my right.

Also I don't always fire off my charge move if I know that my opponent is about to die, or use their last shield. I just keep tapping for the fast move. Then when I do use the charge move (on their new Pokémon) it's already charging up to go again so you can get two moves in quick succession.
Practice on the team leaders or in trainer battles with the DC if you're not sure what I mean.
