For anyone struggling to battle due to glitches, someone has just posted on my local group that going into your phone settings —> time & date settings and then switching off and on (or just on if already off) ‘auto time’ seems to fix the issue.

I don’t know if it works as I had no problems myself but it might be worth a try

Bansbull, my apologies but I think just triggered Ultra with you on my DS’s account. I don’t keep track of his friendship levels so wasn’t paying attention, I picked up his phone because a mom that he needs spawned so just decided to do other stuff on there too I hope you see this before you open the app, but if not take comfort in the fact that I’m in deep trouble with DS for faffing with his PoGo

Dimsumlosesum You can just add anyone from these threads; they put their friends codes out there for friends. You can send and receive gifts and battle long distance with ultra and best friends.

However, you cannot trade long distance, so if you want to trade you either have to meet up with someone from this thread or find other players in your local area.

I actually caught a T5!
I may or may not change the fast attack; I've got plenty of Fast TMs but then again a deoxys seems to be pretty useless.
The other bit of excitement was that we realised I could go ultra with DS' second account on the morning of the battle. He ended up fighting on two phones and I had his level 22 account on a tethered tablet - his best counters were nidoqueens. With 15 players in the battle it was easy and we caught the deoxys on all three accounts.
Now I really want an Ho-oh!

Battle on your best devices!
I kept beating DS, even when he should have had the edge on me. After much experimenting using identical teams, IVs, agreeing on using/ not using shields, swapping devices etc we realised that his tablet has a slight lag compared to my phone. My shields go up more quickly and my attack reacts faster. It makes a difference!
