Hello! I've only done one trainer battle so haven't yet worked out properly, do I have to tap the screen like in a gym battle / raid?

Also do I trigger the protective screen thing or does it just do it itself?

DP and I tried a PvP battle but nothing happened. The pokemon were sort of blowing in a breeze but tapping the screen did nothing. So we're thinking there was a bug. Or is it different to gyms/raids?!

That's what happened to me, Juni. I'm guessing it's a bug of some sort, though also wondered if my mobile signal was weak.
